OK, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt as ignorance seems far more likely.

    Let's look at it.....
"near infinite extent of the universe"
    Humungously huge beyond comprehension
    "the near infinite content"
Countless numbers of stars, planets, galaxies, even just in the observable universe.
"the stuff of life being everywhere we have looked"
The elements that make up life, O, C, S, N, P ect etc...water, Amino acids.
"Theprobability that other planets in ideal situations, should also see abiogenisis arise, then evolution."
Obviously with the "near infinite numbers involved in content and extent, and the stuff of life being everywhere, we have no reason to believe that the chances of abiogenisis, or Panspermia will not have occurred elsewhere.

If of course you are referring to my use of the phrase "near infinite" that is simply my choice of expressing something humungously big....

    near-infinite
    Examples
    • More than a decade ago, the Internet's founding fathers developed the much longer IPv6 addressing system that allows for a near-infinite number of websites and devices.

    • The larger lesson is that the brain is a neural tangle of near-infinite possibility, which means that it spends a lot of time and energy choosing what not to notice.

    • He has near-infinite powers but serious problems with his siblings, the personifications of destiny, death destruction, desire, despair and delirium.

Perhaps also along with the advice from Professor Sagan, and the facts as outlined in the OP, schools should have a program where a reputable scientist, or senior student lecture the class on the scientific method and how science works, along with disclosing why the pseudoscience as so often infects science forums such as this is simply quackery.
We at times had the local Police Crown Sargent lecture our primary classes on road rules, traffic and other issues.
I also believe the showing of Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" narrative would leave a worthwhile lasting impression on our Kids if shown in class.

    Disagree

We need science people to be open minded , not filled with dogma thinking .

    dog·ma
    \ˈdȯg-mə, ˈdäg-\
    noun
    • : a belief or set of beliefs that is accepted by the members of a group without being questioned or doubted
    • : a belief or set of beliefs that is taught by a religious organization
    Full Definition
    • 1 a : something held as an established opinion; especially : a definite authoritative tenet
      b : a code of such tenets<pedagogical dogma>
c : a point of view or tenet put forth as authoritative without adequate grounds
    • 2 : a doctrine or body of doctrines concerning faith or morals formally stated and authoritatively proclaimed by a church
    Other forms: plural dog·mas alsodog·ma·ta \-mə-tə\

    Examples
    • the Catholic dogma of the bodily assumption of the Virgin Mary
    • the Golden Rule encompasses a dogma that can serve all mankind
Origin: Latin dogmat-, dogma, fromGreek, from dokein to seem — more at decent.
    First use: 1638
    Synonyms: canon, doctrine

Think any scientist would be insulted if any paper they published was considered dogma

However if you know of some well known published scientific theory which is considered dogma and not under scrutiny please advise.

You can disagree all you like my friend. The fact remains that Sagan as a qualified professional, and educator, cares for our young children in the best way possible.....unlike yourself floundering in the quagmire if deceit, your attempt at revenge and trolling, fraudulent comments and fabricated fairy tales.

Carl Sagan is one of the most trusted and respected scientists in the world, especially among those who specialize in explaining science to laymen. He's on a par with Stephen Hawking, the difference being that Sagan has put considerable effort into developing a way to talk about science by using words that most people understand.
