Copyright is pretty much automatic. If you want enforceable copyright protection, then you apply and get a registration number.

Aha, now I understand, thanks. It seems that, in line with its well-known absurdity and obsession with pointless bureaucracy, the Indian government does indeed insert itself into copyright law in a way that Western countries do not.

Well good luck to hansda then.

Not in Western countries, you don't. Copyright is generally an automatic right of any author. No registrations needed.

But I've just learnt that India, for one, does have a bureaucratic procedure, rather as you describe.

Sorry, this reply of mine is silly - I had not read yours properly - apologies: ignore it.

If I divide by zero and obtain a result, is that "success", according to your theory?

Well success can be considered as: When the performer achieves 'desired result' from his action, this can be considered as a success for him.

So you can check, whether your result is the 'desired result' or not.

I applied for the copyright through a copyright consultant. He did not find anything wrong with my copyright material.

    I think this is true.

I have explained success in the post #27. You can check with that explanation.

    Correct.

Say I want to give references for the mathematical terms differentiation and integration. The reference should be for the paper where they were discovered/published first or any other standard resource like http://mathworld.wolfram.com/ . OR no reference is required for these terms as they are very common knowledge by now.

Most of the journals ask for copyright transfer before publishing the author's work.

After completing the reference section, i will also try for that.

    @hansa:
What was your cost in US $? Some years ago it cost me $45, a later one cost $65. I didn't really need to do either one, but the cost wasn't that much.

One application took 18 months, another was less than a year.

For my application, it is 3 months over. Here in India, the Govt fee is much less, around INR 500(approx $7). The copyright consultant/agent fee is INR10,000(approx $140).

My theory basically is a mathematical model. This theory/model will be a success if it is accepted.

Really, do you actually believe that? You have no chance of contributing anything to physics or science. I am not being mean, I am just stating a fact. I won't contribute anything either, that is just the way it is. If you really want to contribute, you will need to devote 8 to 10 years of your life learning physics - then maybe (but probaly not) you can come up with something that is a useful contribution.

What you are doing is pretending to make theories and models, it is not real science. If pretending is good enough for you then 'have at it', otherwise go to school.

Well, you are being kinda mean.

It's a fact that does not have to be learned here, from you/us/a forum. We're not his adjudicators.

Why don't we just take his question at face-value without second-guessing it?

What question? I wasn't responding to a question.

Several questions are implicit in the OP. They're why he posted.

I wasn't responding to the OP. I don't think encouraging a person to waste their time on delusions is being kind.
