I dare say one of the greatest discoveries could be gravitational radiation from the BB and probable Inflation itself!
I see the Livingstone detector has a '' 25 percent greater sensitivity'', wonder why they didn't increase the sensitivity of the other detector? Although it's planned for the future. I'm thinking as long as they detect an event on both, then it's a bonus to get a little more detail/ definition. They say the increased sensitivity will increase the range. I think, if Livingston detects an event beyond the reach of the Hanford detector, then you may be wondering if it counts, since it's not a 'joint' detection so to speak. Interesting times ahead.
The checking of data from the LIGO first run (O1), shows no ''significant evidence'' of GWs from pulsars. Where are we heading to!!! I had predicted long back that they would power on the LIGO and lo the GW. Wait and watch next 18 months it won't be 3, it would be 30! That will force us to abandon our ideas about GW.

I should have said what I'm waiting for. I want to see if their talking of a possible detection of the same event on all three detectors... LIGO and Virgo. Perhaps more than one event caught on all three.
