Trump has a long history of speaking out of both sides of his mouth. What matters most are his current actions, as in his choice of cabinet appointees, most of whom would gag at the sight of a rainbow flag.

Trumps business interests are connected to building commercial properties and commercial brands, such as hotels, golf courses, casinos and beauty pageants, neckties. Trump is all about entertainment and making people feel good and important. Old ladies on a fixed income are given free rooms at Trump 5 star casinos; comps. They feel good and excitement, and spend their nickels in the slots.

To promote these commercial interests, he acts like the ring master at a circus. BT Barnum, who is the patron saint of the circus, once said, there is no such thing as bad publicity. For example, if a trapezes artist falls to their doom, there are people who will come to the circus hoping to this this happen, again. If the clowns are always safe, there are people who will come to see that. Both good and bad publicity fills the circus tent, since both type of people exist and will come.

On the other hand, to build a world class golf course or hotel, on an empty lot, you need others skills for planning and building, before the crowds have place to go. The left sees the ring master at the circus, while the Trumpsters, see the man behind the scenes, with the practical skills needed to visualize, plan and build. A few people see both sides of Trump and how both sides are needed to build and fill the circus with happy patrons.

For example, Trump visualized and planned a state of the art golf course, in Scotland, which is the birth place of golf. What better place to build a state of the art golf course for all the golf enthusiasts. In the planning stage, he began with an open field; blank canvas. He compares what is out there, to what people say they would like ,and what can be. He gets the best people together, who can make it happen.

Once that project is complete, on time and under budget, then ring master Trump, appears in center ring to greet the crowds. He knows there is no bad publicity, filling the circus with lures of beauty and death defying feats. The left is afraid the lion may attack the lion tamer, while the right enjoys the acrobatics. Everyone seems to like the clowns.. But all both show up to see and all leave talking good and bad publicity for the next crowd.

    Evidence for this assertion?

The Republican Party has a large number of liberal University students (who could even be bothered to vote) voting for them? I don't recall that being the case at my Alma mater.

    Wow

    Just wow.

So? Now being a so called white christian conservative, the general culture of America since its foundation, is now 'bigoted'. Nice. Good to see you showing your true colors.

While I'm a strong atheist; was married in a temple to a mountain god, have payed (for funsies) to all sorts of Gods, and left offerings; my family isn't even white; and as I'm supportive of civil liberty, which means control over ones body, who one marries, I'd say I fall on the classic liberal side of the fence - even ME, I barf at your notion that basic salt of the earth Christians - who, through no fault of their own happened to be born White *GAAASP*, are Fundie Bigots.

Well, sorry to pop your Liberal Bias Bubble - but the data is in, and it was THE SAME 'Fundie' Bigots who somehow happened to elect Black American O-Blah-Blah who made up the core of the Trump vote. Essentially, most are Progressive Socialists, JUST LIKE YOU.

    Talk about irony!

AND, if anything, you should be happy. Trump is already talking of using State Authoritarian means to get shit done. Like withholding Fiat Currency Units from the States and cities if they don't fall in line. Which is one another reason fiat currency was invented. It has nothing to do about efficiency, or about fairness, or equality - it's 100% about control. Fiat, the word means by decree - through violence and coercion.

Trump is a Progressive Socialist through and through.

That's confused. Why did you bring in new language I didn't use? What are you trying to say? That the modern Republican core voter represents "the general culture of America since it's foundation"? That's obviously false - America fought a Civil War against that fraction of its culture, elected many governments in opposition to it, extended voting rights to yellow and brown and red and black people, even women, in the teeth of its hostility.
Now you're being silly. What is it with you and simple, factual reality? There were some Obama voters who switched to Trump, but they were a small fraction of Trump's total vote - mostly rural Democrats in midwestern States. Any election analysis shows this - Trump got the core Republican vote, Obama did not.
Trump is a reactionary fascist. The opposite of a progressive socialist.

You will never be able to communicate a coherent thought until you learn what the words mean that you use. This isn't Scrabble - you don't get points for combinations of letters regardless of their meaning.

    LOL

You said this: He got the standard Republican core white vote, which is the fundie and bigot vote. So?

Come on, it's clearly a bigoted statement. It's not even true. The reason Trump won, was because so many people who previously voted for Obama, voted for Trump this time around. The voted for change then, they voted for change now. The only thing that is different is the person who offered change then, was a bullshitting politician, this times it's an entertainer, which mean, at least he's honest about it

Oh, and speaking of bigotry, Obama got something like 98% of the Black American vote. Where were you then? Calling out the bigotry? Nope.

    LOL

State Authoritarians can support both Fascist policies (like our MIC) as well as Progressive Socialist policies (like our PIC, Central Bank and Government Schools).

It's not either or. And, Trump, for the most part - he's a Progressive Socialist.

It's a simple declarative statement of fact. How is that "bigoted"? or "not true"?
No, it's not. He got only a few votes that way, and not enough to swing any State.
Our central bank is not socialist. Our schools are not progressive. Our government schools are not Federally owned - Trump's fascism would be an influence, not a classification factor. I don't know what PIC stands for, but if it's "Political Industrial Complex" the US one is fascist, not socialist. The US government doesn't even own its military supply corporations.

State authoritarians come in fascist and socialist models, but it's either or.

Donald Trump is a fascist reactionary, entirely - there isn't a socialist mole on his face or a progressive bone in his body.

Half our economy is fascist. Take Donald Trump's gift to 'The Workers" at Carrier Corp / a shakedown of taxpayers.
Or Obama's bailing out of General Motors.
Or Bush taking the fight to the Terrorists AND bailing out the criminal bankers.

You can thank your Progressive standard-bearers. They conned the South into supporting a Central Bank, you know, because the rich Northerner's is stealing all the good Jerbs! Time to tax the rich. Never mind that in 15 years that same Central Bank would have caused the greatest Depression in human history and led the way forward to WWII.

Anyway, we live in your Progressive Socialist paradise now. We have GiverMint Schools. We have GiverMint Welfare Ghettos. GiverMint Libraries. 10s of billions of lines of GiverMint regulations that keep us safe from one antoher. GiverMint Income Tax Agencies - along with all sorts of GiverMint shit. Like our GiverMint phony wars or GiverMint drug laws or GiverMint certified MD's and hairdressers and florests. Or our GiverMint run prison industrial complex.

Yup - and now we have a Progressive POTUS.
    Yay for you!

And don't you worry, it only gets better from here on in. Now that GiverMint can determine who can marry whom, which websites you can view, what books are 'appropriate' for you to read, how much you can earn and how much you pay GiverMint for that privledge - not to mention, what you can actually do for your employment. One day, hopefully soon, we'll get that wonderful Progressive Socialist, like Hugo, who'll "Make America Equal Again".
    How nice for us

WSJ: Donald Trump Wins Enough Electoral Votes to Become President
Electoral vote proceeds with no sign of major defections

Note: A few "faithless" Republican electors dumped Trump. Specifically, two Texas electors voted for candidates other than Trump: one voted for John Kasich and one voted for the RACIST LIBER-TARD-IAN (LOL) Ron Paul-BOT. But get this, so far, four Democratic electors voted for candidates other than Hillary Clinton. Three electors voted for Colin Powell and one for Faith Spotted Eagle, a Native American elder from South Dakota. HA!!! I believe a few may have voted for Bernie "I Fully Endorse Hillary Clinton" lapdog Sanders.

    Lone Live The Progressive!

What Trump needs to do now is work with CONgress t pass a law that requires Citizens not only to pass a literary test (in order for your vote to count) but a small quiz regarding the actually running of the country.

Firstly, this would eliminate most of the functional illiterates from voting for free-shit (hey, GiverMint School might just make sense... lol) and Secondly, if the test was structured to quiz political information (such as who is the current vice president, etc...) this would eliminate a large chunk of the democratic base - the part that votes for free-shit. Leaving a few relatively educated conservatives who suck and a decent number of democrats who don't want the government to give-away-a-bunch-of-free-shit. But, otherwise like it to protect their jobs, because they think the DEM protects Unioned workers (which is laugh).

Never going to happen, but still fun to think about

Then he should make it a priority to work with CONgress to instill Term Limits. Nothing would be better than to see Sanders have to work for a living

He's still a reactionary, not a progressive. Get used to reality - it works better than your salad-shooter verbiage.

He's still fascist, not socialist. Republican, not Democrat. Tax cut, not tax boost. Private ownership, not public. And so forth.

Trump's your guy, not mine - your little rightwing Ayn Rand bring-down-the-government Breitbart baby. That's your governing ideology, come to life - midnight spews of incoherent rancidity and all.

And none of your silly rewrites of history will change that.

Reuters: Trump meets with Union leaders.

Union leaders speak to WH reporters and described meeting with President Trump as "incredible".
    Via Twiter: shannon A @shogustus

The following is a statement from Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa on President Donald Trump signing an executive order to formally withdraw the United States from the Trans Pacific Partnership.

“Today, President Trump made good on his campaign promise to withdraw the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. With this decision, the president has taken the first step toward fixing 30 years of bad trade policies that have cost working Americans millions of good-paying jobs.

“The Teamsters Union has been on the frontline of the fight to stop destructive trade deals like the TPP, China PNTR, CAFTA and NAFTA for decades. Millions of working men and women saw their jobs leave the country as free trade policies undermined our manufacturing industry. We hope that President Trump’s meeting with Canadian Prime [Cuckster] Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on Jan. 31 opens a real dialogue about fixing the flawed NAFTA.

“We take this development as a positive sign that President Trump will continue to fulfill his campaign promises in regard to trade policy reform and instruct the USTR to negotiate future agreements that protect American workers and industry.”

    Hahahahahah.....

I wonder, will the Unions cut loose their weakened Legion's support from their Patrons, The DemonCraps, handing them all over to the God-Emperor? Why would they want to do that? Don't they know, their new God, is a doofus? Just ask anyone, that idiot isn't going to get elected! HA!

A doofus.... his daddy gave him all that money, and he's in hock to the banks for billions more!

Like it or not, Trump is an accurate reflection of the USA. Our dumb-downed batch of deplorables has elected the one to represent them.
