A 130% property tax increase would be needed to fix police/fire pension fund

Isn't this GREAT news? Time to start paying your Public "Servants" YOUR FAIR SHARE

Think of it like this, if you don't, maybe you get a visit by 'servants' from one (or both) of those departments? Sound good to you? That's great. Now get in there and start making your Farmers their Milk and Meat.

That's Dallas, Texas - an American center of rightwing libertarian governance, home of a ruling class of bona fide Ayn Rand loving capitalist entrepreneurs that talks just like you and then - you should appreciate this - acts on that ideology. Dallas: about as far as you can get in America from all that evil socialism you don't like (Houston could give them a run for it).

Every value, principle, historical take, and view of the world you praise on this forum is part and parcel of the governing ideology of Dallas, Texas.

Federal Reserve blames drugged up Americans for why they're not working. Too busy getting high and enjoying life unemployed.

    LOL

Isn't it wondering living in a Centrally Planned Progressive economy? Isn't it fantastic that the Socialists who run the Government's Central Bank didn't go to prison for bailing out the 0.1% (whom, incidentally, are richer now than at any time in human history) but are STILL in charge of the economy.

Here's your Public Servants... the ones that bailed out the criminal bankers, they blame YOU for their mess. LOL See, when the Buffoons arent' creating a massive Housing or Stock Bubble, or bailing out their Criminal Banker buddies, or funding Phony Wars, well well, then they're the arm-chair "Experts" confusing correlation with causation (per usual).

News Flash! Being unemployed in a totally regulatory-captured market, where rent-seeking, environmental laws, licencing scams, tax scams and minimum wage laws and millions of illegal economic migrants lock lower IQ Americans completely out of the labor markets - and yes, they feel pretty unhappy about not finding a jerb, and they start doing drugs. #NotAllDrugAbusers

Most were abused to a degree as children. Many shoveled into State-run or State-licensed Day Supervision Centers where they graduated to poorly run Government School only to be barfed into said regulatory market barely able to read and write. I'd say that's a form of State enforced child abuse. I'm positive future Citizens in our Great Republic will look back in horror and disgust.

    LOL

Take a look at the society around you Joe? What do you think? Pretty decent? Pretty shit? Is it working for you? I wonder, were you down there waving your Hillary for POTUS placard? Because, it seems to me, the only bullshit around here was the notion Hillary was going to become POTUS. I OTOH started a Donald The Progressive thread in August 2015. Seems to me, my perception of what is going on in society was closer to what IS going on in society.

For example, a big fat loaf of a pile of bullshit, is our currency: The USD. Another fat floater would be our Never Ending Phony Wars on 'Terrorism'. Then there's that big brown poo smear that was bailing out the banking elites.

    War is Peace
    Freedom is Slavery
    ...And Diversity is our Strength

I'm still waiting for all those "Green Shoots" to spout up. Or, I know, how about "The Market" has "Confidence". You, know, because "The Market" has a brain and it experiences "Confidence".... hahahaha. Yes, plenty of bullshit to go around. Don't think you're not munching on some right this minute

Luckily, there's plenty of planet to burn away. So, on the show. Let's see that Economic Miracle that's always right around the corner.

When deregulated, private, for-profit, capitalist investment bankers are the closest thing you have to socialism in your central planning, maybe it's time to diversify a little.

Firstly, the entire finance industry is forced to use USD. A Centrally Planned, State-backed fiat currency. That's the first thing. The entire 'market' is the exact opposite of free. In fact, it IS Progressive Socialism. Our Central Bank was given to us by the LEADER of the Progressive Movement who led the Progressive Party. Let me guess? No true Scotsmen live in Scotland.

Secondly, the finance industry is, after medicine, the MOST regulated market in the world. This is an objective fact. You can actually count the total number of regulations and, if you do so, you'll find ONLY medicine (another totally State-ruined market) had more.

Thirdly, I've made this clear to you, how many times? These are not free-markets, so I am not going to refer to what they make as "Profit" (which in a free society is an act of virtue) but instead as SPOILS. So, in reality, these parasites are semi-privately owned for-spoils fiat debt-based banksters. Let's see if one day "The People" don't decide to elect a Demagogue who instructs the IRS to look back through all the previous lodgings of retired Banksters and financial scammers and pass a 99.99% tax on everything they own - which is 'redistributed' to "The" People. I'd probably fall on the floor laughing

ALL of which is required for your Progressive Socialist paradise to happen. See, without the implicit (and explicit) use of State violence, there is NO PROGRESSIVE Socialism. Democratic or otherwise.

    You're babbling again Joe.

    Here, I'll make it simple:

    1. We use a fiat currency.
    2. We have a Central Bank.
    3. The Central Bank sells debt in fiat currency and the IRS forces the next generation to repay in their 'income' (which for most Americans is labor) tax.
    4. Government Regulates just about everything.
    5. Government Taxes anything it can get away with - or alternatively, uses 'tax incentive' to manipulate behavior.

Anyway, let's see what the Millennials do if Trump completely fails. That'll be interesting. I mean, who are they going to tax to pay for all the free-shit they expect, you know, like healthcare and university and basic income, our never-ending phony wars etc... Well, it sure as shit isn't going to be them. And the 'rich' don't have enough money. That leave the middle class Boomer.

I'm going to put them squarely on the LEFT. If they were on the RIGHT then they'd be opposed to the Dalai Lama because he was a heretic spreading a false religion. As in, they'd be opposed to his religious teachings. And he is opposed for this from time to time (though, he is allowed to speak). The LEFT, OTOH, they are opposed to his moral teachings.

Now, maybe they're right? He probably does have some asinine beliefs? To bad we probably won't hear of them.

See, this is the problem with the LEFT. They want to censor speech itself. What they do not want to do, is to go into the market-place of ideas, and compete with better arguments. No, punch the Dalai Lama in the f-ing face and burn his car. Then break a few Starbucks windows for good measure. You know, because "Capitalism" and "Profit".

    LOL

History suggests, when a far-right dictator ends up in charge (and thanks to Progressive Socialism / Central Banking - all of the power structures needed, are paid for and in place for one to be magically 'elected') well, they do kill a lot of people - but no where near as many as a far-left dictator kills. The piles of dead under the right, are literally dwarfed by the mountains of dead under the left.

Just something to bare in mind .......as Americans get ready to confiscate your wealth 'for the Good of the Roads' because blah blah blah. Oh, did I say 'confiscate', deary me. I meant to say 'Tax'. Okay, that's better. Tax 99.99% of your wealth. For the Good of Society. Which is, only fair after all, you sold debt on your kids and grandkids and their kids. Time to pay up with your retirement and any assets you happened to think you actually owned. No no no, you borrowed, the State owns anything it wants. All we need to do is pull the magic left-right lever (either way, funny enough).

Daily News: NY Teamsters Pension Fund is First To Run Out Of Money.

Coming Soon to a theater near you.

I mean, who'd of guessed this would happen? So? What's the solution? Well well well, it's probably not 'let's sell T-bonds on Generation Q'. Those were sold decades ago. BUT....

    BUT

Wait for it.... guess who does have something worth 'taxing' for the 'good of society' because 'you use the roads'? Yes, that's right! SlumLords!!!

    LOL

Not just any ole' SlumLord, but Bankster SlumLords

For each one of their homes you 'tax' (at a low low rate of 98%), two things happen: 1) a babyboomer snowflake melts ... hahaha AND a babyboomer Teamster UNION member (and we do love our Unions don't we?) can have a sweet arse pension. I mean, nice vacations, nice healthcare - a sweet house. Time with the grandkids. Geee, the American Dream really, when you stop and don't think about it.

    Aaaahhhahahahaha....

How's that sound? All we need to do is pull the Magic Lever to the Left/Right and let's magic Progressive Socialism work it's magic. A win-win for everyone

Is the agenda driven and calculated misquotation, slandering misrepresentation, and fictional revision of other people's speech that is the central and dominant content of your posting on this forum, included in the category of evils that "censorship" normally gets filed under,

or do you have another classification scheme, a special one, for your own speech?

I hear all this, you know, 'Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever.' No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody. You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.

The Roads! The Roads! That THE REST OF US paid for!

    LOL

    What a turd-doodle.

Read it again iceaura, I'm sure all the flowery words got your head nodding already. Too bad it's all a crock of demented shit. Only a lunatic would take money and resources away from a productive human, and give it to the total rejects who run our crap GiverMint.

Let's see, on the one had, we have a person who has somehow managed to crawl through the hyper-regulated markets to eek out a profit (a virtuous act by the way) and who can continue to invest in more productive capacity OR we can use the police to take money and resources away and give those means to bullsh*tting politicians to waste on GiveMint boondoggles, phony wars, bloated bureaucracies, sh*t givermint schools that pump-and-dump functional illiterate (and these are the ones who bother to graduate) at a rate of 20%.

Thank you, but no thank you O-blah-blah.

Nice to see an accurate quote from you - see how much better that works? You can still refer to it as "demented shit" and so forth, like before, but now we can all see that it's just your brain not working very well, instead of thinking you're a liar and a slanderer with an evil agenda.

    16-year congressman Dennis Kucinich writes:

That the CIA has reached into the lives of all Americans through its wholesale gathering of the nation’s “haystack” of information has already been reported. It is bad enough that the government spies on its own people. It is equally bad that the CIA, through its incompetence, has opened the cyberdoor to anyone with the technological skills and connections to spy on anyone else.

The constant erosion of privacy at the hands of the government and corporations has annihilated the concept of a “right to privacy,” which is embedded in the rationale of the First, Third, Fourth, Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

It is becoming increasingly clear that we are sliding down the slippery slope toward totalitarianism, where private lives do not exist. We have entered a condition of constitutional crisis that requires a full-throated response from the American people.

Welcome To Progressive Socialism. You don't get to stick the gun in the face of morally INNOCENT citizens, you know, to redistribute their shit, 'for the Good of Society', without losing the right of PRIVATE property. Starting with full ownership of your body and the fruits of it's labor and ending with the inability to trade with other 'free' Citizens OF the USA, such that if you were to GASP buy a glass of fresh unpasteurized milk from a farmer, you could be legally shot in the head.

ALL, every single Socialist Paradise, ends with a Tyrannical Government that spies on it's Citizens, arrests them for any and every infraction, in debts their children and destroys their retirement. A great example would be the Great Bailout. The Socialist's Central Bank and Progressive Income Tax was sold to functionally illiterate southern white-hicks as a way to steal from the northerners. The "Rich" (who made their money serving the people goods and services they needed) would FINALLY PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE. Fast-forward a Depression and World War II later, and the State was taxing everyone - and regulating everything. Finally in 2008 it was the middle class, who's Progressive income tax would pay for to bailout the rich.

THAT is socialism in a nutshell. Welcome to the United States Socialist Republic, now where's your Gawd damn papers!
