The difference with humans though, is we have compassion and a greater understanding of the ramifications of our actions. Animals killing children of the own species is indeed common, but something completely different. There are also females killing males of the same species. The standard fights between equals for territory or sex end usually with the loser running away.
There's a big difference between killing another person and murder. Sometimes it's necessary to kill. And the threat of prison isn't really a deterrent, since it doesn't seem to work out all that well...
I disagree. Out of a couple (two men) one murders the other and is castrated (or made female) as a result. Homosexual couples are the purest of all.
The implication that castration makes a male into a female is without merit. Removing the ovaries does not make a female into a male, either.
