If Americans are descended from European settlers, why do Europeans still exist?

    Very right, but..

    1. What were the compelling reasons in one group, not in another group, which resulted into mutation?

    2. Surely this change would not have been abrupt, so there would have been cross breeding, resulting into many distinct featured intermediates between ape to human. The argument applies to them too, why are they not around like apes in abundance?

    BoT: a couple of clarifications.

1] The theory of evolution does not say we evolved from (that which we currently call) apes. I don;t know where you rad that, but it was wrong.

Both humans and (modern) apes evolved from a common ancestor that was neither. It was a proto-primate.

2] Evolution doesn't usually mean an earlier creature is replaced by a later creature; it more usually means speciation. All species have a normal amount of variation. If populations of a species are isolated long enough, they they begin to drift from each other. At some point, the two populations - which were once the same species - are no longer able to interbreed. They are then considered two distinct species.

And monkeys don't act like gorillas or chimpanzees. But all of us descended from the same ancestors.
And, back even farther, pond scum - single celled organisms.
It's a pretty straightforward belief. God created us.
If you go back far enough, yes*. Your beautiful children would not be here without the stars that created the elements that make up their bodies. No matter how hard you try, you cannot create a child without carbon or calcium. (In fact, it would be hard indeed to create one without iodine - and that comes only from supernovas, so you have those very big bangs to thank for your beautiful children.)

(* - you, of course, can believe anything you like. But believing something does not make it true.)

I don't really expect BoT to change his(her) mind; it is apparent from his follow up comments that he has already shut the door to opposing ideas.

I merely hope to disabuse him of the erroneous rationalizations that he has picked up. The why are there still apes is a textbook case of misinformaton brain-washing.

BoT is free to make his choice as he wishes, but it should not be because he was lied to.

BoT: the only way to know what the theory of evolution is about is to learn it from someone who knows it.

Turn it on its head: Would you have me learn about Creationism from a Darwinist? Do you think a Darwinist will give it a fair, logical, impartial review? (see Billvon's summation, above

Do you think you have a fair, impartial logical review of Darwinism?

In the beginning God created life . after he created different specie then He created man , How it happen we don't know , but we presume we know ,we were not there . What was or who was the common ancestor , we really don't know .
Darwinism is just an assumption . All living organism have the same principle , obtain food metabolize it by converting it into CO2 water and other byproduct. Yo obtain food it must move were the food is and so it evolve .

Yep. in the same way Mars, Main sequence stars, and the germ theory of disease are "just assumptions".

I'm afraid not, at least if you go by the Bible. Genesis 2 states quite clearly that Man came first, and then God created the rest of the animals. (Of course, other religions may differ.)
We have a pretty good idea.
It's also an observation; we have seen evolution happen.

Calling evolution "Darwinism" is like calling General Relativity "Newtonism".

I have talked to God too.. and God is almighty so human must evolved from apes

At least apes are smart enough not to be creationists.

Genesis # 1 If you want to be to pick for your argument . After God separated water into its own spots , He said let the grass and vegetation come from the ground , then come the sequence of living organisms and diversity. This is very clear written.

Since you have a pretty good idea , why don't share > Tell me who is the real ancestor , do you have, have any skeleton or a sequenced DNA, At what period it hav taken place

Darwinism is a theory that is commonly accepted . Theory change with time . I don't remember if this is based some changes in the Galapagos turtle or lizard due to change in environment, so this is becoming an adaptation . I vaguely remember also , there was a change in sme bacteria in the lab due to change in diet. But the bacteria have not changed itself in to a colony to show a form of higher change.

We've gone through this before but we will revisit it.

    Genesis 2:
"This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

So, per the Bible, the very first thing God did right after he created the Earth and the heavens was to make it rain (mist, actually.) The very next thing was the creation of Man, and the Bible is very careful to state that this happened BEFORE any plants had grown.

"The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food."

So plants came next. (Again, per the Bible, not me.)

"And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. "

    Animals came next.

"And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man."

And finally woman. So it's pretty clear - Earth, man, plants, animals, woman.
The most recent common ancestor between man and our nearest cousins (chimpanzees and bonobos) happened about 12 million years ago. It is often referred to as the CHCLA (chimpanzee-human last common ancestor) and has the provisional name of Pan Prior.
Yes, they do. The various theories concerning evolution will be refined with time. There is pretty much zero chance that we will discover that the fundamentals (heritability of phenotype, mutation and natural selection) are incorrect.

I have d different understanding in Genesis # 2 In Genesis #1 God created plants and animals and final created man and woman and said go and multiply and rested on 7 th day the job was finished . For me Genesis # 2 is to show the falling man into disobedience. If rivers with name existed ( Euphrates , Tigris and other two names ) therefore humanity must have existed who give them names to distinguish .

Now, now, here comes an other invented name ( CHCLA ) to support the idea of our common ancestor. I wonder Is there or was any Human that went back to ape in the last 1000 years pr hany Chimp , bonobo advanced into a closer form to Human , perhaps Tarzan was a one of them , Going back perhaps Romulo and Remus . Or there are other in India Children rised in the jungle by animals.
