Where have you read that women cheat less than men? That's not true. It's pretty equal. And cheating and rape are worlds apart, in terms of what motivates either thing.

As far as rape goes, sex drive isn't what drives it. Power, domination and violating someone is what drives it. Psychopathy drives it, and most psychopaths are misogynists. But, not all misogynists are psychopaths.

And being annoyed with women's voices isn't misogyny. lol Misogyny is a deep dislike and bias of and against women as a whole, all women. Just because they are women. This is probably one of those words that is most often misused, usually to mean any and all behavior that is just rude towards women. That's not really what it is, from what I've read.

Some guys are just dicks to be around, that doesn't make them misogynists. A misogynist would be a guy who refuses to hire women for his business, no matter how qualified they are. But, he doesn't tell anyone this, instead he makes women jump through a lot of hoops thinking that they might get the job, but all along, the guy knows that only men will be hired. They are very sick people, misogynists. They usually see nothing wrong with rape, and using women. Some of them usually pretend to like women though, but the purpose for that is to hurt them. Humiliate them. Once you see it in action, you'll never forget it.

I've had a few romantic involvements with misogynists, and while they were very short relationships, they are unforgettable. Took a while for me to accept that there are just bad people in the world, and that there was nothing I did to bring on those guys' loathing of women. (when you don't know what you're dealing with, you take it personally, at first)

Not all rape is the same. If a 19 year old male and female of 14 fall in love, and they both consent to sex, this is rape in many states. Power, domination and violation, in this case goes to the policy makers, who will rape the male for falling in love with the young girl.

If you look at many types of animals, the males often compete with other males, in tests of strength and aggression, with the dominant male able to breed. The danger involved in this mating ritual, shows just how strong the male sex drive can be. It can make one lose all sense of danger. This is often harnessed during war.

I often wondered whether some of the stereo-typical rapist, more connected to domination, is due to the male merging all the mating phases of the male animal, onto his victim. In other words, at some unconscious level, due to hormones, he is projecting that she is signally sex. Then is competing with that female, like she is another male; domination and aggression. After winning the male mating Olympics, takes her as the prize; all merged together.

If you watch male dogs they will fight and/or even use the body language of sex, as signals of domination; merge.

In some cases, the high sex drive of the male can cause the male to think with what males call the lower brain. The lower brain is connected to projection, where the male can see what appears to be a willing partner. Projection is where the unconscious mind superimposes onto reality to get composite image. It is not as clear where reality begins and where the projection ends. This may occur with women who drink too much and are not showing walls. This is not so much domination, as a false positive, due to lower brain projecting.

When an old fashion male courted a female, he did not expect her to say yes to everything. Her job was to play hard to get, and make him work, to see how much he really cares for her. She may keep saying no and he has to keep trying to impress her. Often men will do this with new women, to show how much they care, with no seen as part of the game. If this is one sided, due to projection, it can lead to false negative in the mind of the female. She will see harassment and not a male trying to court her. If this is mutual, then she see a possible mate.

The higher male sex drive tends to get men into trouble, more often, due to projections. The female does not usually project the same way unless induced by the males. The male may tell her pretty little lies, that she will project into reality. He may say I will leave my wife. But he is only telling her what she wishes to hear, so he can cheat with a willing partner. She then takes risks due to an induced fantasy projection. Men tend to self induce.

 

Have you never been approached by a woman? If she wants you, she will let you know.

 

Those are fair points, well wisher. I was speaking mainly of rape where it's without a doubt...non-consenting. There's ''legal rape'' which is in the situation you describe, but I was speaking more along the lines of rapists who are in prison, who have raped women in often violent ways. Think we believe that because it's a sexual crime in a way, that it is all derived from that place. What I don't like about those explanations is it suggests that all men, if aroused enough ...might rape someone, and that's just false.

 

And it's that on which the theory of "Rape Culture" sits. Thank you for pointing out the truth. Not all men are rapists.

 

Yes, several times. I'm rather shy, so most of the "first moves" were made by women. Both of my wives proposed to me. If it weren't for the sexual desires of women, I'd've most likely settled for masturbation.

An i have seen real bad misogyny... it was on a reality type tv show... i thank it was mayb "Undercover Boss???"... anyhow... the manager of the bidness woud let the waitress go home early who was the fastest at eatin a plate of beans... an the women had to bend over to the plate on the table... an eat 'em wit-out usin ther hands.!!!

I thank the worst part was that the manager wasnt fired... he was re-trained... but mayb it was for the best... at least he might have learned some thangs from bein re-trained.!!!

Hard to say if that guy is a misogynist, but a sure way to tell would be if he left that place of employment and went somewhere else, and did the same thing. Or if he treats women in his personal life with the same lack of respect. Why the women did what he asked is really sad, too.

He should have been fired!! Thing is his problem most likely isn't fixable. To think up something so gross to do to one's employees, such a person has issues that go way behind the job.

To you it might seem that women actually wanting to be appreciated means that they don't want commitment and want to treat men like slaves, but that's because you come from a culture where you are taught that men should be unquestioningly obeyed by women.

I have always been attracted to strong intelligent women who know their own minds and have their own lives and when they welcome me into their lives, I behave as a guest and graciously enjoy their hospitality.
I teasingly told my 1st wife that the laws in the state of Illinois allowed me to "beat my wife within reason" her response was "not if you expect to wake up the next day"............. bravo................

Yes he is gross... i coud hardly believe they showed it on tv... an hard to believe Hooters woud want it seen by people.!!!
If they had the opportunity... i wonder if any of the women woud like to shove his face into the deep fryer an let him bob for french fries.!!!

 

They can be aggressive. I never thought less of them because of it. I think sexual attraction can be just as strong for women as it can for men.
