It seems that when a nuke is detonated it produces a rather powerful EMP which could fry the guidance systems of nearby missiles.
    Question:
Is there a known ratio of yield to effective guidance system frying radius?

Depends on how hardened the guidance system is. You can harden a system to any degree you like, so there's no one radius.

In addition, nukes vary widely in yield.

    OK
    coupl'a questions
1)Just how hardened can a guidance system be if it requires gps inputs?
1a)How hardened can a guidance system be if you forsake accuracy with a programmed course?

2)what power emp would be expected over the range of 17 kilotons to 100 megatons
    eg
    2etc.)could a 17k fry a car's electrical system at 1 mile? 5 miles? etc...
    could a 100m fry a car's electronics at 100 miles? 200 miles?
    how about the electricity grid?
Power needed for emp to disable the switches?
