Mathematics can be applied to the human soul. Here is an example. Let us say that there are an infinite number of parts to the human soul. The parts shall be designated a1, a2, a3, a4, a5 ... an. DE
Wouldn't a whole with an infinite amount of parts be infinitely big? Is the soul subject to the spacetime property of size? If not, maybe the soul is the same as the Infinite? “You're an infinite soul, a spark of Consciousness, and your perception is a creative decision you're continuously making.” ― Yol Swan, The Indigo Journals: Spiritual Healing For Indigo Adults & Other Feminine Souls
Maybe. But why would anyone want to apply mathematics to the human soul? Assuming that a human soul even exists, which I strongly doubt. Maybe. But doesn't that assume that human souls are divisible into denumerable parts? I still don't understand the point of doing this.
There are an infinite numbers between 0 and 1, so the whole (1 cm) has an infinite parts. If, for example, each part of the soul is half as big as the one before, the overall size of the infinite parts is only twice the size of the first part. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Mathematics is a closed tauntology. That means it refers to nothing outside itself, and every thing with in it is clearly defined. God, if existing, is not part of that tauntology.
"Soul" has acquired multiple definitions over the centuries, which may not mesh well with each other. An immaterial soul would lack extension and accordingly couldn't be distinguished into "parts" residing in or made possible by space. As a generative principle it might produce material experiences (qualitative showings of changing corporeal phenomena) which could be divided or broken down into components. IF yielding such manifestations slash location / place was a capacity attributed to it. But the expression "immaterial soul" as an informorph wouldn't refer to a generative principle with a "power to __", in and of itself. Instead it would merely be "passive instructions" or an "instructive form" that has to be realized by physical components in order to have that "power to __". As an infomorph, its so-called immaterial status might be justified in the sense that it would be the form / scheme beforehand for accomplishing _X_ regardless of whether the cosmos was a possibility in theory or literally existed. IOW, if it was necessary -- the way for achieving _X_, due to the limitations of how _Z_ cosmos worked and the restraints of its characteristics (or the overall type of cosmos it belonged to).
What is a tauntology? It sounds like the sort of thing The God would say, to annoy Paddo. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Tauntology is the art of turning animals into thermally insulated sleeping bags. The biggest downside is usually the smell.
Well here are a few more questions about the soul. Assume the soul has an infinity of shapes and no shape at all. What would this mean? Does the soul overlap the body completely or partially? Does the soul overlap beyond the body? I believe that someday there might be a field of mathematics about the human soul, spirit and mind. What a fun field that would be. DE
Exactly He is the creator of it. But when it is extended He is the evolutionary part of it, as you should know the tauntology is nothing more than infinity and is still unified as one, as the 8th is upon us! We shall Ionize!i
This is the way I am like. I like to explore. I actually intend to write an essay series on the human soul and soul representations. It will be quite fun. I am going to start by writing an essay on soul representations in the Elder Scroll game series. In the game Skyrim, which is apart of the Elder Scrolls series, they have these abominable things called 'soul gems' where they supposed capture the souls of monsters, animals and sometimes humans via some supposed 'spell' called 'soultrap'. It's disgusting. The authors of the series should be ashamed of themselves. I intend to do a review of the series and voice some serious objections. That will be my first essay in the essay series. From them onward I will take a look at soul representations in other games and fiction books and sprititualities. DE DE
Try worrying about reality rather than condemn Bethesda for making a feature in a damn game, dave. It's coded NPC's, not real people or animals.
You mention reality. After reading some of DE's posts, I get the impression the following describes DE... lost soul http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=lost soul
Why shame? What objections? Are games supposed to uphold the spiritual ideals of random people? If so, who decides which, whom and where?
The soul? What, you mean those visions where we phantasise about killing our father so we may impregnate our Mothers? So, pregnant with the knowledge the child is trying to kill, and steel his partner, what do you think the solution should be?? What will the Father do about this as the child grows, knowing it is trying to kill him and steal his wife, as he did in his sin?? Who knows! "Adam made love to his Wife, Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man." Later she gave birth to his brother... Abel." https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis 4&version=NIV ...all we can say for certain is it didn't happen. The technological advancement of the planet is evidence enough that it is a myth. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
So I'm a random person then, DaveC? Gamemakers should try to be moral, would you not agree? Can we agree that games should not celebrate rape? Excellent, then you would agree that gamemakers should be moral. Is it a spiritual ideal of mine that your soul cannot be imprisoned, DaveC? Yes. Now what do you think? DE
