Why is nihilism considered a negative philosophical belief?

    You hear that a lot, you know. The YOLO generation, and those before who weren't classified as such, for whom "you only live once" carries the connotation of spending your life having fun.
    But here's the catch; how are you actually going to achieve your goal of living forever?

    It seems to me that in order for you you to reach that goal, you're going to need to rely upon those who are not really happy with the way things are and focus themselves upon doing something about it.
    So you either have done in the past, and now feel you've done your bit, or you're relying on everyone else with a more balanced viewpoint to do it for you.

    There is an inherent danger in justifying hedonism using little more than the caveat that you care for others.

    It's not that I'm hedonistic, it's just I see no reason for not living life to the fullest advantage of which you have worked long and hard to achieve.
    I also do not rely on anyone else as I'm still fit enough to handle things at this time and in the foreseeable future. But when that time does come, I'm confident living within a close knit family, that help will be forthcoming.
    Living forever? Let's say that I have no plans of kicking the bucket anytime soon,
