Why do some people never claim their luggage but checked luggage in? I know someone who is a baggage handler and they say there are rows of unclaimed luggage everyday that was never lost but remain unclaimed. Died on the way from debarking to baggage center? Senile? Checked lottery ticket during flight and realized they won? Just plain forgot? It seems to be a mystery. Then it all goes to a huge warehouse where the contents are for sale. For example, one suitcase had nothing but assorted types of cheeses in it.
