Does commonsense really run counter to Quantum Mechanics?

If we divide 1 by a fraction, such as 1/2, we get 2. So if I apply this math to a gallon of gas and divide by it by 1/2, I will now have 2 gallons of gas. This defies common sense, as well as energy conservation, but it is allowed by math.

This math operation, would be consistent with energy conservation and common sense, if division by fractions was a type of energy intensive machine process that had to be tuned to a very specific situation. This will allow the machine to uses enough energy to make the one or more duplicates implicit of dividing by a fraction. But in math, this never gets that specific, so common sense is tested.

When Jesus fed the multitudes he began with a couple of fish and couple of loaves of breads. Based on math proof, all he had to do was divide by a fraction, say 1/1500 and now he can feed 3000. That was called miracle, because it defied common sense, even if this had math proof, using basic math.

Your ability to equivocate language is astounding, yet rather than see an initial conclusion that is patently absurd and thus question your understanding, you simply accept the conclusion.

To say "it is allowed by math" is to commit a misunderstanding between the unit-less mathematical conventions of pure math and the application of that math to the real world.
Maths does not "allow" a gallon of gas to be divided by a half to arrive at 2 gallons of gas.
If you want to perform a function of "dividing by a half" then you need to do it to both sides of the equation: so let's assume that the equation is "capacity of container = 1 gallon"
Now divide the 1 gallon by a half... what do you end up with? Do you suddenly double the capacity of the container? No, you end up with "2 * capacity of container = 2 gallons". So there is no doubling of capacity.
Not having such an equation, and merely starting with "1 gallon divided by a half" is simply an alternate notation for 2 gallons. So you have not doubled anything here either.

No, common sense is not tested. Your sense might be, but yours seems to be anything but common.

What on earth is "math proof"?
Where is the proof that it is possible to divide a fish into 1500 pieces? Where is the proof that a meal of 1/1500th of a loaf of bread and 1/1500th of a fish is sufficient to sate the hunger of all the people, such that the scraps could fill however many baskets, as stated in the Bible.
That is why it is considered a miracle.
