The second one from the left with adidas.

The alpha male isnt always necessarily the most aggressive or coarse but he's not a pushover unless he wants to be. He can just look at you and make one go weak in the knees. Its like you can easily pick him out of a line-up.

True alphas are so rare, they attract most of the women. They know what to say, how and when. They know what to do, how and when. They also know how to read women exquisitely and mirror. Besides dripping with testosterone and masculinity, they can make a woman feel both protected, special and nurtured and they take the dominant role and lead.

That 'it' factor and understanding women makes them strangely rare among males.

I think I'm beginning to understand why you're having boy troubles.

The player type is what you think of as an alpha male?

No, the player that is an alpha male. The one you cant have exclusively because other women throw themselves at him left and right, willing to make concessions and compromises for him.

So even if they never get to meet family, friends, stay hidden, cant call etc they dont go away because they want any attention he may give.

Its impossible to have a monogamous relationship for long with them, even if they love you as a girlfriend or wife. Also, because their sex drive is incredibly strong but that is also the appeal.

Impossible yet like that addictive treasure trove of ecstasy and danger. Like no one else can give you that intensity and adventure. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

I have never been able to break that allure. Its like they can cast a spell and create magic. The air is electrified and exciting. You feel alive like you were dead before.

The intimacy they forge is incredible as they get to know you. Its deep, primal, passionate and exhilirating. Its like telepathy between you and a soul union/merging and you are his/belong to him like an invisible fuzzy cashmere blanket around you. His essence, scent through and around you. It makes you feel amazingly feminine and he takes you there to get in touch with it.

Being with a hot alpha male is like going to heaven and skydiving. Of course, he can take you to the depths of despair too.

I'd be lying if i didnt admit its almost like some spiritual leap or experience because they are very much in tune/touch profoundly with what they want and desire at a very deep level and get you in touch with yours or show you things you never knew before. Ecstasy, exciting, feels otherworldly like you are on top of the world with them.

Unfortunately, other women have eyes to see also a handsome male and the sexual charismatic vibes they ooze from them.

They also have this confidence and assurance about them as if they just 'know' things which makes you feel safe because they are in control. Like they have a sixth sense which makes then more nuanced, clever, sensitive and keen in anticipating or making judgements. Also, very romantic like 'sweep you off your feet' unforgettable type romantic.

They just exude power, not an offensive power but confident and they own it. Very seductive, charming, incredibly sweet, playful, fun etc with an ability to understand all that makes you tick tock. All that makes life worth living.

No one does it better than a alpha male/player. What to do? Honestly ive had more growth and insight from experiences with these types than any other. There is tremendous inner growth potential with these types even though its risky too. Its because they live life on maximum.

From a male point of view, being alpha is not even worthwhile.

Being high social rank, but well below alpha combines easier life (less effort to keep the rank) and still plenty of chances in women. That's the "sweet spot" in the hierarchy that most males will like.

So alphas are not only naturally rare, males with some insight in the mechanics won't even strive to become alpha, only high rank (which can be difficult enough).

I agree. There are much better and more productive ways for me to spend my energy.

An alpha is not "a beta who strives to become an alpha"; an alpha, by their very nature, needs to be top dog.

By example, in the animal world, an alpha has a larger boundary within which it feels the need to defend it territory and property.
A beta might have a boundary of, say, 10 feet radius within which it will feel threatened and attack. An alpha might have a boundary of 15 feet radius.
If a beta is within 12 feet of a competitor, it is not threatened, whereas an alpha is, and responds.
It does so, even at the expense of its own energy reserves (it fights when there is no need to). This is very stressful and tends to shorten their lives. Alphas tend to burn bright but flame out soon. But it's who they are.

That is the hallmark of an alpha. They can't not be top dog.

While the dog (Canis lupus familiaris) is a subspecies of wolf (the nominate subspecies is Canis lupus lupus), there is considerable difference between the two. Some of it is physical, such as a smaller brain that can subsist on the lower-protein diet of the domestic dog.

But much of it is psychological. In fact, one of the most important differences between a wolf and a dog is that the dog has a much weaker alpha instinct. Wolf packs seldom have more than a dozen or so members, because if there were any more, they'd always be fighting for leadership. Dog packs, on the other hand, can have fifty members, and the leader doesn't necessarily get a lot of respect. In fact, dogs are content to have a member of a different species as their alpha: a biped who brings home half of a dead cow every couple of weeks so nobody else has to go hunting and they can just play games and chase toys.

So the term "top dog" is a bit misleading--but it's even more misleading when applied to humans. A street gang may have a leader, but his lieutenants are only loyal so long as his leadership keeps them alive, prosperous and out of jail. And female humans beyond their adolescent years tend not to be impressed by machismo, but prefer a man who will be a loving father, a faithful mate and good wage-earner.

Homo sapiens may be a social species, but that does not automatically mean a hierarchical species. The President of the United States may appear to occupy the role of alpha, but only until we see how badly he is insulted by the members of Congress.

As an alternative . . . you can just go skydiving. (Good place to meet some of those "hot alpha males" you talk about too.)

Sure. The difference being that, in the case of skydiving, there's a chance you won't end up broken to bits.

No one knows but me what I own or how much I make. So by me just going out for dinner I could sit down next to someone who thinks they are an alpha female who actually has little in the way of money or assets but only has a nice looking body. That won't get you far with me but others that you find will go along way with you as you drag them by their noses through the dirt and your money goes flying out of your bank account.

Yeah but you're like 75 years old, with a morphine pump imbedded in your back, and you've had 4-5 heart attacks.

I thought this was a "science" forum. Where is the science that humans even have so-called "alpha males".

I suspect the science will say otherwise.

Well, alpha males are a pretty common research topic in science - at least in other animal societies. Studies of humans, of course, are far more contentious, since people often project their own prejudices onto the science.

(Of course, a discussion of "hot alpha males" is one of personal preference rather than science.)

This has nothing to do with alpha maleness. It is not an image thing or a success thing.

So if money and property have nothing to do with alpha males what then do you think does?
