Have you considered writing a list to discover how YOU feel about your mental health? I would say pro's and con's but as a wise man highlighted: if you are writing a list then all is not good. Write?

It's a cliche that anyone who is sane enough to wonder about his sanity is probably sane. The cliche goes on to say that almost all insane people are sure that they're sane.

Of course there are exceptions to those cliches, but they're worth using for guidance, not to mention reassurance.

Have you ever met anyone who really is mentally ill, which is a far cry from genuine insanity? I have. There's no room for doubt.

He was a brilliant attorney with a loving wife and a successful career. Then his mother died. Within two months he was standing on street corners shouting Bible verses at people.

Fortunately this happened in Los Angeles, so his family managed to find him and get him to a professional before people got tired of him and invoked the municipal government.

And no, my work took me out of L.A. a long time ago, so I don't have any updates on his condition. Sorry!

It is quite often that I am thinking of beating people.

So if I walk up to you in the street and say ni hao, you would beat me?

We all have thoughts like that! What matters is that we don't actually DO IT!

What you need to do is understand WHY you want to beat these people. Are they evil? Have they done something bad to you or your family? Are they causing damage or injury to your family, your community, your country? Are they real people that you know or read about, or just imaginary?

We all want to beat Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, the leaders of ISIL, and several other leaders who are making life in the Middle East difficult for their people.

I'd like to beat every gun enthusiast in America, but I realize that this would make me as bad as they are.

I am thinking of beating and punching the face of Najib Razak, the prime minister of Malaysia.

Sometimes, when I am alone, I speak to myself and laugh, is that crazy?

A political leader will always generate a lot of hatred among his people, because there will always be a huge number of them who think he's doing a bad job. So as long as you only imagine attacking your prime minister, rather than planning to do it, you're quite normal.
Many people who have good language skills talk to themselves. It might be practice for something you want to say to other people; it might be something you plan on writing in a letter, article or book; it might be something that you're trying to understand and turning it into words might make that easier.

As for laughter, it's very healthy, whether you do it alone, or with other people, or in the presence of an audience.

In other words, you seem to be perfectly normal.
