I understand that the IQ test may not be accurate; however if you replied I expect you to reflect on 1. The answer to the question or 2. Tell we why you disprove of such a question
This is just a survey to see others IQ, I knowingly ask this with the knowledge the test is not perfect.
    My native language is French

Autocorrect can also take over and a post will read much different than intended.

I've never taken an IQ test for they really are not that great. I've seen the test however and found that there are many questions about how good your memory is but not how creative you are. They never ask about common things like welding, lathe operation, backhoe operations , rebuilding a broken engine, repairing a water leak and on and on. So, to me, the test is not that well designed to find out about how people handle common problems but rather how they remember how to solve equations and other things not related to daily life.

The more I know the less I know.

I am asking for others IQ; not asking you to reflect on mine.
Your response implies that you did not read the other comments. I stated the IQ test may not be accurate, this is simply a survey due to me knowing the intelligence on the members of this form is generally high, you most likely included.
I will remove me personal IQ if it keeps causing controversy, it was intended to start off the topic not cause a long unrelated and meaningless conversation.

I've never had the opportunity to take an official IQ test, but I would estimate it to be around 150. This is based on the number of people I've met over the years(2000ish) and the number of those people who were more smarter than I (0)

My response was directed at your asking what my IQ is. My response was show us that 141 has a real chance of being a fact. We already have long irrelevant threads. It's a state of being at public internet discussion forums. Especially those that claim to focus on science. The likelihood that folks are going to reveal a low number while posting in this forum is nil. The likelihood those folks posting a high number are lying is probably high. Irrelevant bullshit.

I did not create this thread to record and study the results. Truthful or not, I was just wondering what others would put and I do not want to drag this on. If some guy wants to put PHI as his IQ, fine. I just want the general idea of it, assuming every response is not inaccurate.

Based on how smart I am mine should be around 350. I just can't prove it or find anybody else who think's that could possibly be true.

I had this really witty response typed up, would have put your 350 IQ to shame, but it must have gotten eaten up by the tubes of the internets. Alas.

141 is a high IQ. It might have looked to others that you are just fishing for self-confiodence boosts, since it's likely that the majority of posters is having less than 141 - actually less than 2% of the population seem to be above. So even if this forum is populated by clerver people 141 is still that high, that a majority of the mebers will be below.

I assume if you had put 101 for a start, the replies would have been more on topic and you could still feel confident, sicne 101 is a little above average

(IQ has been tried to be scaled so that 100 points match the average).

I'm guessing that most people haven't bothered to take the test. I am curious how many people in here have, and at what age...

When I have taken on line IQ tests, my IQ turns out to be about average. Yet I graduated from Cornell with a Chemical Engineering Degree (my GPA put me in about the middle of the graduating ChemEs). So either the test are not accurate or a person with an average IQ can graduate with an engineering degree from an Ivy League college.
