    Hello All,
On following website I found this:
    https://voxcorvegis.wordpress.com/2014/04/01/quantum-immortality-and-me/

"Speculation in this direction always leads me back to the same question: under what circumstances would you start to regard this hypothesis as being true? Under what circumstances do you think that it would be reasonable to start believing that you could never die?

From my own personal experience, I can honestly say that I would need to be at least three hundred years older than anyone else I knew of, and I would need to have survived at least ten major events which, by rights should have killed me.

“My own personal experience,” did I say? Why yes, I did. You see, circumstances have recently conspired to convince me, by the standard of proof that I have just named, that I cannot die. I am already more than four hundred years old, and just yesterday I withstood my tenth all-but-fatal event–an unfortunate run in with a locomotive, which, “miraculously,” left me with only a few scratches. Add to that my nine of previous bouts with death (which need hardly be described at this juncture, but which include such notable episodes as contracting typhus, being shipwrecked, and charging with the light brigade) and I don’t think that I am being unreasonable in supposing that I am living proof of immortality.
    Quote:
It’s hard to nail down a firm date for when I was born–changes in the calendar and such– but my mother always told me that it was the summer before the Spanish Armada set sail for England, which would put the year at 1587. It’s hard not to slip into a sort of vulgar solipsism when life seems so subjective, but after a few centuries, you start to get the hang of it.

Try not to be surprised; when you think about it, this makes a lot of sense. How else, after all, would I manage to know so many obscure facts about history but from having lived through it?"

Why do you think you're 400 years old?

No,it is not me,it is him who claims to be 400 years old, and even put exact year when he was born.

I consider another possibility - that he was just kidding.Last line in his post is :

"So why, you ask, am I revealing all of this to you now? I can say only that it feels good to get this confession off of my chest–and to do it on the one day when I know for a fact that it will have no lasting repercussions, for the very simple reason that no one will believe me.
The one day known as “April Fools Day.” "

So-called "personal proof" is usually limited to death and the conscious confirmation of it being incompatible with each other. "Your own mortality is unfalsifiable from the first-person perspective. This obstacle is why writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe allegedly remarked that 'everyone carries the proof of his own immortality within himself'." --Jesse Bering

Setting aside the calendrical displaced April's Fools example... Any subjective immortality dependent upon personal experience continuing -- via these surviving parallel world versions of one's self (where you'd likely be becoming either younger or more a cyborg bit by bit) -- would involve memories gradually altering to be coherent with the current alternative cosmos. So that there would never actually be even a subjective validation of such a survival method occurring. (In effect, responses like this would ensue from a later, parallel Alexander when presented with such outlandish speculations: "Nonsense! I have always been experiencing myself as Version #35679 on this particular version of Earth alone.").

One exception is if bizarre realities existed where "normal" statistical probabilities are inverted, so that what is vastly unlikely "here" becomes routine "there". In which case, certain complex systems (including human beings) might randomly fluctuate into existence bearing memories or records of having once existed elsewhere. Where they had incrementally developed rather than being conjured in sudden mature intricacy. IOW, a kind of afterlife made possible by a relentless multiverse instantiating every variable arrangement of membership for the reality category (a spectrum of different rules, different "stuff").

Why in the world would you ever need someone else to convince you of that?

Are you honestly saying that you don't see it for yourself?

    Because he's engaged in trolling.
He posts nonsense topics on various forums.
And completely ignores any replies he gets from one forum before posting exactly the same topic and questions on another.
In short he's either genuinely unable to understand replies (in which case why bother asking) or he's dishonest about his reasons for asking.

Because he says circumstances convinced him to the level of proof,i.e 10 events that he should die but stayed alive, and that he possess obscure knowledge about history which can be obtained only through living it...or I am too gullible...

Why do you think "he" had to have lived through those historical events and not just read the stories of other people who lived through them?

I got Your point. What about his 10 brushes with death were he should die but stayed alive.
I also find it strange that he posted it on April Fool.Either it was joke or he was not lieing but intentionally put it on April Fool so that nobody will believe him
