Hi, I just visited a clothing shop a week ago for their soft opening. A friend of mine is one of the part owners of the shop. She is also the acting manager of the said store. She was asking me for suggestions about how to come up with a better writing content for a website. She said that they are not sure if they have the right market content and are reluctant if they could maintain their contents efficiently. I have no idea about it because I'm not that knowleageable of such things. Actually, we were discussing about what we both found online. We wanted to know if companies that offers copy writing services are important and worth hiring? Is it the effective way to a good website? Any tips about it?

It's not enough to just have a website for your business its content is important to bring your business to customers. You should hire SEO services for that matter because it is good for business visibility and branding.

I know not how to create a website but I did see a script (on Sciforums actually) that was very interesting. It appeared as though one could "piggy-back" a ite on a thread i.e. clicking on the word led to a site. Although this sounds like a link it was not. I have posted about such a script but without success. Perhaps I was simply mistaken. However one would love to know how to do such a thing.

The company must offer something unique in order to draw people to its website. Think Amazon, Ebay, etc...

Thanks for your inputs. I actually read your comments but didn't have the time to respond. I got so invested in the clothing shop that my friend co-owned that I signed up as a partner myself. We looked for companies that offered copy-writing services for the past months. We were quite hesitant at first but we got quotes from companies like ProfCopy, Cross, and Parachute and we eventually signed a contract with one. We chose this company because we also needed IT consulting services so it's like hitting two birds with one stone. So far, everything's working out fine. Again, thanks for the tip, Orinda. So glad I stumbled upon this forum!
