Did, Dywyddyr, receive infraction points for misquoting MR, or is he going to verify his claims? Maybe I should report his post for slander.

Oh well, I reported the post. Coward, Dywyddyr, can poke fun at a suspended member that is unable to defend themself, but can't back up his own accusations.

    :EDIT:

Or is it that he doesn't need to acquire enough information to make an argument before making claims? Wow I must be really stupid. Dywyddyr, has an I.Q. of like 162 and has over 9,000 books, hence, everybody must take what he posts as the word of God. He should never have to explain himself because he is so superior.

And what, am I going to get banned for this post too?

Exactly. There's little difference between posting paranormal topics in the top sections of SciForums and the Fringe section other than that in the latter they won't (usually) be moved or cesspool-ed. But there is the superficial appearance of a distinction, because it's not labeled "Skepticism and Debunking of UFO, Ghosts and Monsters" (etc). It doesn't even seem to sport a "temporary grace period of not being insulted" refuge for paranormal enthusiasts (which includes believers, "agnostics", and non-militant investigators who study this human passion) to carry on a discussion among themselves. During which another mutual flame-circus outbreak would at least be briefly delayed.

MR has become a legendary underdog and martyr to some who would ironically feel right at home in James Randi's camp, because UG&M and Parapsychology --again-- have the appearance of being some kind of "speed-trap" equivalent for garnering penalties for the unwary (as well as those who overheat on the rival side). In the course of those unwary paranormal hobbyists reacting defensively to being attacked in a place they reflexively assume to be proper for their subject matter. And the doggedly stubborn, who even though thoroughly experienced, still just can't accept that only doubting, dismantling of claims, and a philosophical naturalism stance about certain affairs being impossible are the correct stances to have in those two sub-forums. Due to nothing in the group names and the descriptions below them indicating: "Hey, expect the same standards or attitudes to be hounding you down here as up there; don't be hanging around after the sun sets on your buttocks, Crank."

I would hope so. I've reported it, I imagine others will too.
You seem to be asking to be banned. This is your usual way of asking for attention and has gotten you permabanned on other forums.

Wow, you really do love me.

What was your reasoning for the report?

Your personal attack on another member who happens to be a moderator on another forum where you've been banned.

Unfortunately, I can back my accusations up.

Did you ever think of that?

Alex the portion struck out should have nothing to do with moderation on this forum. The only possible reason I could even imagine that activity outside this forum might have an impact, is if there were some significant and related criminal component.

The portion you struck out is what I ascribe the motivation of her attack to.

Since when is asking for footnotes an "attack"?

    Really. You just hate me.

    What was the misquote?

I asked for verification, but am too inferior of course, to receive any validation on what is in the quotations.

I'm still waiting AlexG. Since when is asking for clarification crank behavior? Is asking for footnotes crank? If your sole purpose is to want to mean, you just demonstrated yourself as an asshole.

How 'bout you don't even engage me.

Ooh! AlexxG can't respond to me, and is much too full of himself to apologize.

Thank you for showing your character.

I'm waiting for you to back those accusations. Maybe it's, Dywyddyr's, cowardice, still though, maybe you should just shut up.

    :EDIT:

I'm still waiting. (Bunch of fun of dishonest, lying cowards.)

Since I didn't quote, or claim to quote, MR then why should I get infracted?

    Nope, you can't.

Then you used quotation marks for what purpose?

    I'm still here waiting.

Those aren't attributed to MR. Those are often called scare quotes, which are quotes indicating a word is being used in an incorrect or ironic sense. Here's what they mean in this case:

    >MR's "crime" is to claim that he knows "the answer" while refusing any and all other explanations.

MR is not really accused of any crime, so "crime" was in quotes to make it clear that it is not a true crime; more of an "internet crime." (IMPORTANT NOTE! Those quotes do NOT claim that you made that quote; they are, again, scare quotes.)

MR often claims he has an answer to anyone's questions/criticisms. Dwy does not believe it's really the answer, so he put it in quotes.

Did you just demand - in the same post - that AlexG both answer you and ignore you?

    • Please do not insult other members.
Yah whatever. All you're into is being a negative asshole.
