A quantum creationist is a believer in quantum creationism. Quantum creationism is any happenstance or intentional creation event where a highly ordered physical reality spontaneously materializes out of nothingness.

For example, Prof. Alexander Vilenkin, Director, Institute of Cosmology at Tufts University, is a quantum creationist.

"Quantum creationist" would appear to be a rather silly and tendentious term invented by you.

That's not creationism, that's just nature.

Please forgive me if I caught you in an unfortunate or deplorably shallow state of mind if you are not prepared or willing to answer an embarrassingly simple yes/ no question.

Are you too ashamed to say, "Yes, I am a quantum creationist"?

besides your elementary remarks, what's this whole topic supposed to mean ?
is your sole intent too only insult scientist without even an inkling of proper education on your part, as you continue with your youtube and google university edification ?

There was no question. You made a statement and attached a YouTube link!

I don't follow links unless the post itself presented something of interest. It does appear to me the term is an invention of your own...

What I cannot figure, is how your OP or any of your following posts fit in the Physics & Math forum. I don't know where this belongs but so far not here.

Given the limited definition provided, I answer "no", but I think there is probably more to your definition than you are telling us.

[Edit:] And now after watching the video I'm sure of it, because the man in the video certainly does not qualify under that definition.

Do you mean if the person did not accept the standard common theory the person is uneducated ?

yes, and in my book, one needs at least PhD degrees, otherwise it's just simply mentally disabled ramblings with a touch of insulting scientist and science itself.

but you already gave me the answer to my question, which is now
yes obviously, you're here only to insult science and scientist.
then you'll whine to the moderators when you're being insulted.

Yes, I am sure there's a "gotcha" in which he pronounces you to be just like a creationist.

Overall looks like a fairly weak attempt at a troll. We will see.

Yes, I don't want to be associated with those filthy creationists. It's not appropriate. It's kind of an "I know you are, but what am I" thing. Childish.

Prof. Alexander Vilenkin, Director, Institute of Cosmology at Tufts University, seems very respectable to me.

Me too. So what? He's not a creationist, much less a "quantum creationist".

Let the record show that you can't tolerate a simple and perfectly reasonable definition.

What record? The broken one you are on? It's your definition: explain why you think it applies to prof Vilenkin....also explain why it matters. That will determine whether your made-up word/definition is "reasonable".

[edit] Note that the first words spoken in the video are "So it appears that the question of the origin of the universe does not have a satisfactory answer..."
