Just what is it that Magical Realist is supporting? Your right to make a complete fool of yourself? Makes sense.

He likes calling you illiterate fool over and over. It's part and parcel of the whole troll technique. Disparaging the who instead of arguing against the what.

The complete fool you're making of yourself. A common place for you. You should be embarrassed. The funniest cry from you was when you pleaded [paraphrased] somebody tell me is the Big Bang true, it can't be...... LOL. Anybody remember that. I'm pretty sure your God isn't against the way he created the universe regardless what nonsense was actually written down.

    Yes I know.

    But thanks MR.

These people have nothing else to stand on but insults. What I don't get is why they don't realise it has no effect on me.

This being rather than god is challeneging your truthfulness.

This thread should be over since it's completely degenerated into an old style chopping event. As for you you're orbiting the dunce stool. Good one huh!

    But not to you?

So the moderator is responsible for your responses. The moderator is your fall back mummy.

Mod Note - since MR has shown he has no desire to stick to facts, and given that this is the General Science and Technology forum, not a PseudoScience section... I've taken the liberty of moving his misrepresentation and lies to a more appropriate thread (as well as purging the responses to his posts)

Then pad should also be treated as such.

I am not aware that Paddoboy has been fabricating false quotes from scientific greats - can you please point out an example so it can be handled?

    No I can't.

Fair enough - if you see something you believe is actionable, please - use the report function. It lists a report the moderation team can review as well as providing a link and quote of the offending material.

The only thing that is most offending are the insults. Directed towards any of us members. Quality of the site to my mind is respect for anothers perspective or opinion.

Surely on this we can agree.

Indeed we can - it is worth noting, however, that if and when certain members continuously make fools of themselves, either via dishonesty and falsehoods, or abject rejection of rational thinking, it becomes much harder for others to remain civil - after all, arguing with a fool is a fools errand - this is because dishonest or otherwise biased folks will simply ignore evidence in favor of what they desire the outcome to be.

    True

But not in all cases. My points have and are valid.

I'm not referring to you specifically - I apologize if I came off as such. I admit - I've become a bit grumpy with the influx of pseudoscientific rubbish we've seen lately - doubly so with the recent changes in software and the "kid gloves" policy
