I did not know that. All sorts of things are probably in there.

Any infinitely long string of "0"s and "1"s that does not ultimately repeat must, by definition, contain every piece of code that has ever been written, and ever will be written, plus an infinite amount of code that could be supremely beneficial (including code for a human-level AI or higher), as well as an infinite amount of junk.

But finding that code would likely take an infinite amount of time to identify.

    Reality as a computer? Absolutely.

Mathematics is the "software" that runs the Universe, but that doesn't mean reality is a computer.

For that to be true means that the Universe is based on logic and not reason .

    Disagree

Mathematics is consequence of energy and its shapes . From the macro to the sub-atomic .

Energy and its shapes? What's that supposed to mean?

From the macro , galaxies , suns etc. ; to the sub-atomic and atomic

    Yeah, that's not an explanation.

What does that have to do with mathematics?

Can mathematics exist in empty space ? Thats the question to you .

That's not a question, although at a stretch I guess it could be considered a koan.

You think the universe is perhaps based on reason rather than logic (the difference being that one is subject to personal opinion, the other is not)
Is mathematics the consequence, the cause, or merely a description? Or perhaps it is an inseparable part of what "energy and its shapes" is and thus meaningless to speak of one without the other?
Eh? Daecon's was a perfectly understandable sentence, every word being in the English dictionary.

Show that "empty space" (i.e. absence of absolutely everything, which seems to be what you imply) is actually a meaningful proposition, and not just an abstract notion of the impossible. Then we can discuss if mathematics can exist within it.
But there's no point in discussing it if "empty space" is an impossibility. After all, what is "space" if not something at least defined by what exists?

How would mathematics cause anything ? It is a description .

Oh it is inseperable from energy and its shapes because both energy and its shapes manifest . Hence mathematics then has a foundation on which to base its measurements .

There is no such thing as absolute " empty space " . chiral condensate.

Mathematics exist within it ; mathematics is the consequence of the existence of things.

Not the Plato ideal of objects .

You say "then has" which implies causal relationship. Is this what you mean? That energy exists first, then mathematics?
Or are they merely part and parcel of the same thing, I.e. Mathematics being the description, as you seem to agree?
you say that there is no such thing as "empty space" and then say that mathematics exist within it, that mathematics is the consequence (there you go again with your implication of causal relationship) of the existence of things.
How can mathematics exist within that which you say does not exist?

And if your reference to chiral condensate is an attempt to name what you mean by "empty space", how is it empty?

What do you mean/understand by "empty space"?

Mathematically, the M=R Principle is expressed as follows. The universe obviously has a structure S. According to the logic outlined above, this structure is self-similar; S distributes over S, where "distributes over S" means "exists without constraint on location or scale within S".

    http://www.ctmu.org/Articles/IntroCTMU.htm

The definition in bold for "distributed" is perfect - to exist without constraint on location or scale, meaning it is unbounded. Hence God or S or SCSPL may be infinite and eternal. The distribution means that the entire set of reality is hologically infused with its elements (real is reality). That is my interpretation of this particular part.
