well seeing that my universe position is seeing ... sir dumbest on earth and yesterday isn't today.

... I thank myself for having visited and commented and being charmed by the screen name 'dumbest man earth.

the subjective entry of the presented topic is very perfect. it has been nice to recognize greater human life participation in life itself as of late. I think such matters a lot. really humans that don't venture outside the residence they live in, in a day at least after having honored the place they live to award themself with a breath of fresh for a time[aside from the fact that the place a person lives doesn't look staleish of useless clutter and expired habits, outside: so as to join giving life itself credit, therefore 'the pretty universe is greater pleased with us silly people, even feeling better about ourselves in such decently progressive reason.

    Origin,

Pl see the Paddoboy pomp in post # 16, the term is used by him and countered by me on the context...

And moreover "This cold and dark" end of universe is certainly not the certain theory as claimed by Paddoboy....this is one of the theories........My opinion is that universe is .....mass-energy-mass-energy continuum and will never go cold and dark.

You countered nothing. You make an unsupported, unevidenced claim.
And you are either a mitigating liar or just a troll. I never said it was certain. I said at least half a dozen times that it was the most likely outcome based on evidence.
But lying and making unsupported allegations is not new to you is it?

    Paddoboy,

I have taken both your posts fully in quote, lest you come up with excuse that I am quoting you out of context....

DMOE has also rightly exposed your deliberate omission of what Baez stated in his article......and you as usual started camouflaging the thread with continued copy paste...

Show me where I took anything out of context, or once again you are a gutless mitigating liar.

Posts 22 and 24 show you as a gutless liar.

Now again Rajesh, where is your links, or references or evidence to claim that the heat death, big freeze will not happen as you so stupidly claim.

You have already been asked by a Mod to present your evidence, so where is it?
Or as usual, are you just doing your normal lying and anti science trolling.

You have to learn to control your argumentative nature....You also have to learn to take things solo...not lurking around for support always....What MOD stated, I answered, probably he saw the point in my clarification......

In my first post, I just told you that whatever you are pointing out cannot be a sure shot outcome, even the old Fraser guy put that in Question Mark Style....but you took that certainty mode.....that was my first objection......I proposed a different possibility......that is equally likely and unlikely.......So why are shouting incessantly ??

I don't lie, you do and you do regularly........Thats not my concern, I am not interested in your lies, I will object only when you make a statement which is incorrect.....factually incorrect.

Say what you like...You have been shown to be continually wrong in many threads and still lack the intestinal fortitude to admit it.....
You certainly have an agenda which I picked up long ago, and that revelation by me is sticking in your gut.
My references, links and evidence will continue as I see fit, all from reputable sites.
You of course, as per usual have nothing..no evidence, and no credibility. Just a sneaking underhanded mission to rail against any accepted mainstream science.

    No you did not.
    Your first post......
I did not take a certainty mode...Another lie.
All you need do is show some link or reference supporting your stance, or showing I lied.
    You cannot do that.
I have shown that you are a liar on the other hand.
In essence you expect this forum to take the claims of a total nobody with no credentials in cosmology and a proven agenda laden stance against mainstream cosmology, over many threads.

So in red you say, I claimed it was certain in post 16......
    Let's see.......
    POST 16:

Then in green in the same post above, you say that all you say is that "in your opinion, mass-energy-mass-energy continuum and will never go cold and dark"
Let's check that for accuracy too.......

So there we have two false claims in the one post.
Now either your understanding and reading of English is atrociously poor, or you are just telling lies.

    1. My post # 44 explains it clearly.....that first he advocated this Cold Dark as certainty as any scientific theory and then he backed out...

I can recall few more instances, in one of that you were also involved...

    2. In one of the past threads, he boasted that the purpose of the Quntum Theory of Gravity is to explain the BH singularity only.....in fact thats the specific pointer he threw on me....but when corrected by you, he backed out that he never said so....

    3. Another lie, he stated that for BH to form, the density is all important and what not about densityof Galaxy and this and that....finally he took a correct stand...and backed out from earlier stand despite direct pointer.

    4. Most shocking is that in past couple of threads he was falsely attributing many statements to me (he was making a list every second day....not all but many of them were falsely and deliberately attributed to me...kind of a misinformation). He has been adversely advocating me as anti mainstream, which is a bigger abuse than calling some one a liar....you also questioned him once about what is so anti mainstream about my post..he did not relent.

And by the way, Paddoboy, makes accusations at the drop of the hat, it will be proper for your neutrality to take him on sometimes.. I know once he was banned for couple of days, so I am not accusing you, but there are too much of heated arguments bordering to accusations from paddo also, they should also be pegged.

Here's an older "Universe Today"rundown mainly concerning a version of the Big Freeze, known as the Big Rip......

No “Big Rip” in our Future: Chandra Provides Insights Into Dark Energy
by NANCY ATKINSON on DECEMBER 16, 2008

When you throw a ball up into the air, you expect gravity will eventually slow the ball, and it will come back down again. But what if you threw a ball up into the air and instead of coming back down, it accelerated away from you? That’s basically what is happening with our universe: everything is accelerating away from everything else. This acceleration was discovered in 1998, and scientists believe “dark energy” is responsible, a form of repulsive gravity, and it composes a majority of the universe, about 72%. We don’t know what it is yet, but now, for the first time, astronomers have clearly seen the effects of dark energy. Using the Chandra X-ray Observatory, scientists have tracked how dark energy has stifled the growth of galaxy clusters. Combining this new data with previous studies, scientists have obtained the best clues yet about what dark energy is, confirming its existence. And there’s good news, too: the expanding Universe won’t rip itself apart.

Previous methods of dark energy research measured Type Ia supernovae. The new X-ray results provide a crucial independent test of dark energy, long sought by scientists, which depends on how gravity competes with accelerated expansion in the growth of cosmic structures.

“This result could be described as ‘arrested development of the universe’,” said Alexey Vikhlinin of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Cambridge, Mass., who led the research. “Whatever is forcing the expansion of the universe to speed up is also forcing its development to slow down.”

Vikhlinin and his colleagues used Chandra to observe the hot gas in dozens of galaxy clusters, which are the largest collapsed objects in the universe. Some of these clusters are relatively close and others are more than halfway across the universe.

The results show the increase in mass of the galaxy clusters over time aligns with a universe dominated by dark energy. It is more difficult for objects like galaxy clusters to grow when space is stretched, as caused by dark energy. Vikhlinin and his team see this effect clearly in their data. The results are remarkably consistent with those from the distance measurements, revealing general relativity applies, as expected, on large scales.

Previously, it wasn’t known for sure if dark energy was a constant across space, with a strength that never changes with distance or time, or if it is a function of space itself and as space expands dark energy would expand and get stronger. In other words, it wasn’t known if Einstein’s theory of general relativity and his cosmological constant was correct or if the theory would have to be modified for large scales.

But the Chandra study strengthens the evidence that dark energy is thecosmological constant, and is not growing in strength with time, which would cause the Universe to eventually rip itself apart.

“Putting all of this data together gives us the strongest evidence yet that dark energy is the cosmological constant, or in other words, that ‘nothing weighs something’,” said Vikhlinin. “A lot more testing is needed, but so far Einstein’s theory is looking as good as ever.”

These results have consequences for predicting the ultimate fate of the universe. If dark energy is explained by the cosmological constant, the expansion of the universe will continue to accelerate, and everything will disappear from sight of the Milky Way and its gravitationally bound neighbor galaxy, Andromeda. This won’t happen soon, but Vikhlinin said, “Double the age of Universe from today, and you will see strong affect. An astronomer would say this may be a good time to fund cosmological research because further down the road there will be nothing to observe!”

Vikhlinin’s paper can be found here.

Talk is cheap Rajesh, especially from someone with an over inflated ego as you have.
I've given links to all my claims. You have given nothing but unsupported claims.
I have proven you are a liar with those same links.

    Paddoboy,

What do you want to say from this detailed colorful post ???

    My stand is that

    1. Cold - Dark end of universe in my opinion cannot happen..
    2. Universe will continue as Energy-mass-Energy continuum..

Now, what's lie or misinterpretation or stupidity or lack of understanding of English or blah blah in these two statements ??

Why not contribute something, instead of taking cudgels with every one who in your profound opinion seems to be speaking slightly off your understanding...learn to respect others opinion also, calling them trolls, liars, poor english, does not befit a 12 year old senior forumist. Let MODs decide who to send to cesspool or other sub forums.

And if you do please ask him also to provide coherent and controlled argument in his own language, not some funny copy paste.....

James R .....(As the forum administrator)

I may be wrong, or I may be dreaming too much....But I must share with all..

I have never seen Paddoboy online, generally whoever is online a small green design comes up on the left top corner of his id (as displayed along with the post), but in case of Paddoboy I have never seen that green dot, but he is always present. Most of the time he answers instantly, he exchanges multiple messages in short span of time but I never noticed that green dot.....even now I could see 2 of Paddoboy post coming but that green dot did not come on..

    My conclusion is..

    1. I may be wrong, it is just that I missed to notice this dot on him.
    2. Paddo types offline, then does some fast copy paste, and again goes offline.
    3. Paddo types offline, then uploads on the server.
    4. He is an insider, who knows the trick of keeping this green dot invisible.
    5. He is a sock puppet of an insider and may be he knows much more than any other ordinary member.
(Paddo, in the past two of your responses were quite intriguing to me, I forgot them now, but they were indicative of something more than an ordinary member would know)
