And the video I linked is even more lit up.

It is a hoax. The video attached to that article shows how they do it.

Less living in fantasy land and more living in reality MR.

    Good start...
Erp, nope. No matter how big the mound of crap gets, it's still crap. It will never become gold -- only gold is gold. Gee, what a shock -- a reporter who doesn't understand science and contradicts himself.

Other than, of course, being human.

Has nothing to do with it being actually haunted or not - getting into newspapers, local news channels, and spread across the internet like wildfire = free advertising that the theater doesn't have to pay for.

Uhm... you've never watched anything Cirque du Soleil I'm guessing...?

An atom of gold isn't gold either. But when you add up billions of them, then suddenly we have gold. Eureka!

You're saying it's part of being human to see ghosts? How many have you seen?

An atom of gold is exactly gold. Gold is an element.

An atom of gold isn't made of gold. Gold on the other hand is made of atoms. Big difference. Gold IS an element--a substance. But an atom isn't an element.

That there is the atomic structure of it...

An element is a substance made entirely from one TYPE of atom... thus, an atom IS an element... albeit a very SMALL one.

Now, do explain what you mean by "an atom of gold isn't made of gold"...

No..a "fucking" element can't be a substance made of one type of atom AND an atom. An atom isn't made of atoms nor is it a substance. It is a particle made of protons, neutrons and electrons. An element is what the atoms compose. Look it up if you're unclear.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_element
A chemical element (often just element when the chemical context is implicit) is a pure chemical substance consisting of a single type of atom distinguished by its atomic number, which is the number of protons in its atomic nucleus. Elements are divided into metals, metalloids, and nonmetals.

Atoms are what elements are composed of.

If Magical Realist tries to tell us that elements are made of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, I'm outta here.

Are the videos just the usual 'omg an gost!1!! (spelling's shit on purpose)' YouTube diatribe? I'm guessing yes, and won't just grant them an extra view. However if you wanna watch MY YouTube vids they can be found at *shameless plug here*
