blast from the past or favourite 80s movie "Terminator?" etc... I actually suspect the terminator will ne a reality soon because of all the advancements in nanotechnology?? But who will set them loose??
In terms of early memories of Outer Limits compared to watching it now on THIS-TV: None of the $100k episodes hold up as stellar as they seemed back then (even the latter actually being years after its original '60s run). "Demon with a Glass Hand" might deserve a quasi-honorable mention. "Soldier" was even part of the inspiration for Terminator, as Harlan Ellison's settled-out-of-court lawsuit sort of "dotted eyes / crossed teez" confirmation-wise.
I remember one Outer Limits episode that left a lasting impression. It involved two giant transparent cerebral heads, one good and one evil, that were interacting with humans. That's all I remember. But it was an image that stayed with me nonetheless.
This program reminded me of The Twilight Zone only longer episodes. They weren't to bad but I didn't care for them all that much.
Architects of Fear 1:36 - 3:07 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Architects_of_Fear I was in first grade...I'll never forget the episode. I also remember the others referenced so far. The Sixth Finger episode was great, along with the Zanti Misfits...both stand out in my mind.
I quite liked "The Choice" from the first season of the 1995 series. It was about a secret group of women with telekinetic powers.
