I don't think publicity correlates to attendance in this case. Just because someone has heard of some theater in England doesn't mean they are going to make it a point to go there. I've heard of the famous Ford's theater. Lincoln was shot there. Will I therefore ever go there? Probably not, unless they have a really outstanding show and I happen to be in town.

    See video of haunted theater..

Also see all the photos I've posted of apparitions. You banned me last time for posting that evidence. Remember?

Problem with what? Of a chair moving in a haunted theater caught on CCTV? It's not a problem for me since I know there is such things as ghosts.

    Strings can be totally invisible:

I have seen this stuff - unless you are literally right up against it, it is virtually invisible. From 10 feet away, you wouldn't see it at all, even if you were looking for it. On a 240p CCTV... yeah, no chance in hell.

LOL! I assure you that all string and yarn IS visible and can be seen with the naked eye, especially in the glaring light of a CCTV camera. Ever see fishing line in the light? It gleams and flashes like a spider web.

I've seen it too. That's why it's not invisible.

CCTV cameras aren't lights, and low resolution CCTV cameras can't see much detail.

Magicians use a very fine line for a number of tricks that would quite easily be capable of moving a chair (It's strong enough to suspend umbrella's etc) The line is available from many magic shops (including ones in Romford)

You have absolutely zero to teach me about anything here. See Stryder and the "Quick Question" thread for details. So long!

I hope there are no ghosts. Hardly seems fair that they can spy on us.

You should study up on paranormal phenomena. There's lots of good online resources for that. Or you could take some college courses in parapsychology from Duke University or Princeton. Don't worry too much. I don't think spirits are that interested in us usually. They have their own issues they have to deal with in the astral plane.

Looking at the footage, there is a huge lighted area right in front of the camera. Obviously there is some sort of IR or other light shining down. A line would definitely show up in that light. It doesn't. Hence no line. FYI a line not seen doesn't count as a line.

Doesn't matter, it's not evidence for ghosts. If anything, it's evidence of a chair moving. There is still a huge intellectual gulf to fill before you can make a conclusion. Simply discounting alternative explanations doesn't constitute proof.

Yes it does for the very simple reason that for example, there are well over 2000 paranormal investigation groups across the U.S. with many actual cases under their belt of haunted locations. Their video, audio, photographic, and eyewitness evidence can be examined firsthand on their own websites. So we know ghosts exist. Therefore they are a legitimate explanation for objects seeming to move by themselves, particularly in places that already have a history of unexplained occurrences.

That's simply the repetition of the same inconclusive evidence.
