Note - Yes, Iknow this is in cosmo... the link to this originally came from a local radio station: Bob 94.9

I just... ugh. If anything, the fathers should have been made to leave... it wasn't THEIR prom. The fact that they were standing up the ogling teenaged girls is rather scary to begin with... this wasn't a private peep show for them!

The dad's reaction is natural, it was the "Mrs. Grundy" with the Puritanical attitude that should have been escorted out.

I dunno... I mean, having 30 and 40 somethings oggling teenagers is kinda wrong...not because of the age difference, but because of the power difference. We are talking parents, potentially teachers here... they hold that power over the younger kids. I dunno, just seems wrong to me.

As for the one with the attitude, yeah... I can agree to that.

    Umm, yeah...
First of all, very pretty young lady...

But, after seeing the second pic, take a look at her right arm.
    Looks like two big sores...

Maybe they just she was contagious...
Just lookin' out for the other youngsters. Yeehaw.

    1. the sores are innoculation marks.
    2. She was kicked out because her dress was too short.

The "Dad" thing is a newspaper angle.
    She looks very wholesome.
She's the kind of girl I would ogle, because I have good taste.
I'm sure that there were far more titillating girls there for the drunken dads to ogle.

I suspect that that tight dress rose up a bit when she was "swayin" to the music.!!!

Exactly... Any female looks better when you're wearing your "beer goggles"

But, what I see really happened here is, some pissy old woman didn't like the attention she was getting, and gave her the boot.

Men are visual by nature... We can't help ourselves. Meh.

Uhm... I get that they are homeschooled and so this isn't an actual "school function"... but having alcohol at the party would probably be a very bad thing, seeing as most of the attendees are minors... wouldn't it?

Wasn't referring to the kids really... Meant the old codgers.

I don't know if I could handle a bunch of teens for too long, without some form of imbibe.

    You are quite correct...

    Why I never considered it.

But, just to clarify... The beer goggles thing, was actually a response to CH's previous post.

I guess I should've split my post up better.

Huh?... You don't have batshit crazy parents, in your neighborhood?

I blame all this shit on reality shows on TV...

Don't ask me why, I just do.

Hey!... I said, don't ask me why.

    You so want to though...

Except her dress wasn't too short. She more than met the guidelines. And it appears that the oogling/chatting dads were the primary cause for the adminstrators taking an interest in her, and used the "too-short dress" as an excuse, since they can't officially kick someone out because they're being stared at.

That may apply in some circumstances like the archaic gun laws and consequences stemming from those gun laws, but in this case, it applies everywhere I would think.

    Back on subject......
What bloke, father or no Father does not ogle at a good sort?
But in most cases, the same blokes are discreet about their ogling, and aware of where they are. eg: In a pub or bar, ogling by any group of young men, is more pronounced and less discreet, then by another group of older men and rather then at a school dance.
I've often caught myself starting to stare [rather then ogle] at a good sort, but quite quickly, I then manage to give myself a quick uppercut and do my best to desist.
    Self control and all that.
    That's my excuse anyway.
