I don't think anyone does that. Everyone carries the baggage of their past experience. It is one of the reasons you can quote, even recognized theorists over time and find apparent contradictions. We all always look at a problem from we we are standing.
I've been confused by this moderation style for quite awhile. It seems not everybody is subject to the precedent sock puppets get permanently banned along with their creator. They're good moderators at this site just none in the physics and math threads. It's pretty clear that Alphanumeric and Prometheus have other stuff to do. JamesR told me to complain to them a couple of weeks ago. LOL. Maybe they should take a peek at how Ben the Man handled ending his moderator status. If a moderator can't discuss the subject matter at a high level then they're pretty much useless in my estimation. So who posts here that is capable of discussion at the highest level on every subject they've addressed. Gee I wonder. LOL. How about Aqueous Id and rpenner. Both brilliant with a 'huge' education. I know it's not fair for me to bring that up but.... I've been thinking about it for awhile. The idea the sock puppet criticized Id's math and physics knowledge means he would be better suited for a trip to the woodshed.

It's pretty obvious the natural phenomena we associate with time is well behaved on the Riemann manifold but is very difficult to model in the domain where the Riemann manifold no longer applies. Domain of applicability. Anytime you're discussing a theoretical model you need to understand what that means. It's called physics.
