Enough of this! I want Richard Dawkins' head on a pole, to put in my yard with my gargoyle.

How would the Constitution be altered? God isn't mentioned in the Constitution. "In God We Trust" wasn't added to our money until 1956.

What do guns have to do with atheists?

Atheism has nothing to do with "thought police"

If you believe that atheists would eliminate guns (which makes no sense) how could they then "shoot you in the head"?

I'm not personally saying you're insane but you must realize that rants like this do provide some evidence to that effect.

Probably not a whole lot different than it functions today.

Understand your sentiments, arauca...here's the thing, though. There are good and bad in both camps. Both sides are capable of destruction. It is erroneous to think however, that absent of worshipping a Deity, people will choose 'evil' over doing good deeds. There is no evidence to support that frankly, in fact, if you do some research online, you might come away surprised at how much 'good' atheists have done for their fellow man, and how they are not inherently selfish as you might believe them to be.

This is a very stupid statement to make. You claim you are Christian ? It besmirches anyone who also claims the same.

It is also quite wrong. Two of the most religious westernised European countries for example, Italy (Roman Catholic) and Greece (Greek Orthodox) have, or have had in the past, a preponderance of socialistic / communistic thought (particulalry against the fascism / military rule they've endured in the past) yet their populations have always been, in the main, deeply religious.

Jesus was a Socialist. And how are we back on the Atheism equals Communism idiocy? An Atheist world would not include state religions, or cults of personality. One is worship of the state as a god, the other is worship of a mortal man as a god. As An Atheist I accept neither as being valid objects to be worshipping.

    Mazulu

I like our Constitution just fine. An Atheist world would have the same freedom of religion it has now, only with less of your religion influencing the law. The religious objection to women having a choice of whether and when to bear children is imposing on that woman's right to be free from your religious views, to keep your grubby fingers away from her private parts in any way, shape or form. The Bible recognizes a person on the day they are born, some other religious societies wait until the first birthday before even naming the child, so many die. Whatever, it's none of your business. And "In God We Trust" was added to our money in 1956 and "under God was not in the pledge until that time as well. Our soldiers all through WW1, WW2 and all the wars until the Korean conflict never said "under God" in their pledge.

What kind of gun would Jesus pack, anyway? I always wondered about the logic of the guns/Fundamentalist Christians. Muslims I understand. It seems there is no such thing as a religion of peace, their all armed to the teeth(but then, so are the Atheists in America).

Funny, it always been other religions(including Communism)that do all this stuff. Christian Germans burned synagogues, Torahs and destroyed all property of the Jews in 1939, the Taliban destroyed statues of Buddha that had stood for a thousand years when Mohammed was born in 1989.

Again, it was a Christian in Florida just last year that thought it his Christian duty to light up some Korans and Muslims from Saudi Arabia who drove planes into buildings to earn their 72 virgins. All the book burnings I've ever heard of was carried out by deluded religious hucksters and their sheep.

Why, it would be more humane to treat them as humans with slight cognitive disorders, as long as they remain harmless. Like UFO enthusiasts. I don't care what they believe, only behavior requires intervention and then only if it harms others and not just themselves.

In a world where everyone was an atheist was the scenario therefore why would there be religious schools and assembly...according to this scenario everyone is an atheist.

Our government now isn't a religion based one and religious assembly is permitted as well as religious school.

Oddly, I completely agree with you as well. There is a certain amount of freedom of thought associated with the mysterious. I could see human civilization evolving socially into a more enlightened consciousness while simultaneously withdrawing from its technological peak that were at now. But what is the human race going to do about its unsustainable population growth?

There is no freedom of thought for the ignorant, particularly when the ignorance is willful, such as yours is. You're limited to what little space there is to move about while remaining ignorant.

You Mazulu, are quite spiteful with your ..

"Atheists are just pinko communists in disguise".

I gave you a sensible contradiction to that a few posts up, but you ignored it and went on with what can only be described as your spiteful stupidity (if not downright trolling).
