Like are you well? I was just wondering if you are comprehending OK. I often get told that I'm missing the point, and maybe my English isn't the best.
But did you note that I asked Billvon a question about pornography not whether he was sexually aroused? I was wondering if you were well enough to know the difference in the two questions? Do you think it is one and the same question or is it two different questions?

    rob,
why is it important to you to have pornography defined on this board?

    Here's the dictionary definition:

    Pornography
    pɔːˈnɒgrəfi/Submit
    noun
    1.
printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate sexual excitement.

    Now.
I suppose Robbity that your real question is why your pornography got you a ban, and other people got away with it?

Most people realise that when they post something of this nature that they are risking a ban or at least a warning.
If the material is mild, or justifiable in context, and they don't do it continually, it will probably be tolerated.
If they get a warning, or other indications that people find it offensive,
they will back off and watch what they post for a few weeks until the heat is off.
It isn't a matter of rules, it is social interaction.

Most people, given the issues which have arisen recently, would, in your position, have been more circumspect.
The fact that you can't understand why, says more about yourself than it does about the Forum's standards.

it all boils down to good taste and what the mods decide.
if the mods decide it's porn then you're basically screwed.
    so stop pushing, k?

    rob,
did you really tell bells what sexually aroused you?
    you fucking perverted dumbass.
    she's married you moron.

Whether I am married or not is beside the point.

You don't PM people or tell complete strangers stuff like that.

Boundaries and just common sense.. both of which he is lacking.

Despite repeated attempts to explain it to him, it's not just the video, but the fact that for several posts, he was going into detail about what gets him off and was quite explicit about it, not to mention his comments to Beer, which were wholly inappropriate and unacceptable. Sure, on its own it could be taken as being double meaning, but he immediately followed it up with several posts about what turns him on, including a video he openly admitted to making him sexually aroused, and then commenting how he likes anal porn and several other comments..

    No, really..

And he doesn't understand why he was banned?

Going back to posts from years and years ago and saying 'this is then porn'.. he completely ignores the contexts of his posts and his repeatedly going on and on in such a way as to make everyone uncomfortable and frankly disgusted because he just wouldn't shut up about it.

Then he gets back from his ban and between his posts in the forum and his perverted PM's to me, here we are.

And he still does not get it. He goes so far as to say that it would be easier if he could just tell who is a woman and who is a man on this site. Again.. Completely misses the point. Who would it be easier on? The women he would then stalk? Or the men he would disregard or perhaps discuss his sexual fantasies with? If you ever wondered why forums rarely demand that people post their sex, Robittybob1 is a prime example. He fails to notice that men and women are equally disgusted by his posts and comments. And he again completely does not get the point that it is inappropriate and why. Just like his acting surprised when I became angry at that last PM he sent me. Because he believes that because it is by PM, then he can do so. He doesn't get why it is not appropriate or acceptable. Then he goes that I didn't tell him no or to stop. Apparently my saying.. repeatedly.. that it is not acceptable was not enough of an indication? Does he require sky writing? Perhaps tattooed on his forehead? What part of 'you can't post that crap here' does not mean 'stop' exactly?

Just look at his comment to Billvon. Double meaning and in the context of what we are discussing... It's obvious how he meant it and it is obvious how it would come across. For him to then turn around and say 'well I didn't ask if it aroused him'.. Perhaps he believes we are all stupid and cannot see his blatant disingenuous dishonesty?

As you'd know I was banned for posting a link to a YT, that was part of my Christian Songs thread. I knew it was up there but I didn't think it exceeded the limit. I am writing about my life story and how God is involved and for sure sex seems to be a part of it, for I am a single man trying to understand the proper Christian way of meeting a partner. I needed to be able to discuss things and not get banned for it, so I wrote to James R prior to this banning, and he said it was OK to discuss weird dreams, but later Bells said no it is not. So I am just a bit uncertain as to whether I should proceed until it is clarified.

By that definition any weird dream would always be OK then for I would be most surprised if telling it "intended to stimulate sexual excitement".
By the above definition given the YT was OK then, for there was nothing of this category: "printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity"
There was nothing in it that came close to that. (Well it came "close" but it always changed just at the right time not to enter that definition.) I admit it teased but was it pornography by the definition of porngraphy, and I don't believe it was.

Removal of the link or pictures should be the first call of action by the moderators for then we get to know, how they are defining pornography.

I said that it is not acceptable to discuss your sexual dreams and sexual fantasies and what turns you on, etc, on this site.

Weird dreams is one thing. Going into lurid details about what makes you aroused and your sexual dreams.. No.

As I explained to you, I have known James for around 12 years on this site. There is no way in hell that James would have said yes, you could post that.

The fact that he banned you for it should be a good enough indication.

If you want or "need" to discuss these things, then start a blog.

But it is not acceptable on this site. How is this difficult for you to understand? You were even banned for your behaviour. And you still don't get it..? How can you still refuse to respect that?

And frankly, what does your meeting women have to do with this site? IT'S A SCIENCE DISCUSSION SITE. Not a dating site. Nor is it a site that offers relationship advice or advice on the proper Christian way to meet women (I'll give you a hint on that one, it isn't acceptable to Christians to stalk women or discuss what sexually arouses you). And it is not a site where you can get your rocks off stalking women and telling them about what turns you on. Who the hell does that? And posting it all in a thread about Christian songs as well no less.

    You have a problem.

It is not us. It is not this site.

    It is you.

    Get some professional help.

Look I can't remember the exact wording in the PMs but I am willing, and I have said it, Bells can put the entire PM on the forum so you can all read the entire and actual context anything was said. I don't think I said anything too weird, that is why I think posting my letter will be OK, but it must be in full with her questions to me as well.

The fact he banned you for it and removed your link is not enough of a definition for you?

Jesus Mary Joseph, your dishonesty knows no bounds.

You are actually going to try to claim that a youtube video did not meet the category of the direct definition of pornography?

What you posted was not acceptable on this site. Why? Because it was pornographic and crossed the line.

    Do you understand now?

Has it entered your thick skull?

You want to post or discuss porn? Do it elsewhere.

You are not allowed to do that on this site.

If you persist, you will be banned.

Have I made it clear enough for you yet?

Or do I need to demonstrate it with banning you again? Because right now, you have gone so far out of bounds of acceptability on this site, I don't think anyone will protest banning you permanently, let alone sending you away for a couple of weeks.

FYI, stalking females on an internet forum is NOT the way to meet a partner. Posting pornographic videos only serves to show you're a pervert that doesn't deserve a partner.

Now Bells OK so it was James who banned me. OK but look, the dreams will not be anything like the YT. So I will write my dream posts and get them vetted by a moderator before they get posted then should I.
I just want to be able proceed but not to be interrupted by bannings.

Bells please, by "persist" you mean persist in this discussion? Now that is weird. For this discussion is very healthy.

Personally, I quite liked the cheerleader.
But details of Robbity's masturbatory fantasies, or anybody else's, I can definitely do without.

Would I? I have been asked not to say what I like etc so you should also be careful about saying what you like and dislike. Surely I'm not being singled out here again.
It was strange how it picked up that additional thought! Say if you want it deleted?

I understand how the site works.
I know what is allowable and what isn't, and when and by how much I can break the rules.
So does anyone who has been on here more than a week or two.
People don't need a set of rules. They learn through interaction.

On the other hand, even though you have been here a long time,
you don't "get it". It's a mystery to you, isn't it?
That's why you are looking for a set of rules.
There isn't such a thing, and there never will be.

    Re. previous post:
You replied as I was changing my post below.
I realised on reading it that referring to you specifically was unfair, and altered it to make it a general comment.

Lets post your PM and my response to you, shall I?

Here is my response to your PM to me, your original post can be found at the bottom of my post, in full. Your PM to me was in response to something I posted in the forum, which addressed the hypocrisy your comments about your stereotyping all atheists as liars because atheists do not believe in God, and therefore, in your opinion, we have nothing to fear so we apparently lie. The hypocrisy I commented on was because of how you posted you'd had affairs, etc and then had the nerve to stereotype all atheists as liars.

Now, you decided to PM me your response to my post on the forum - after you simply copied and pasted, without any formatting of my post.. Please note, to protect people's privacy, I removed your real name which for some reason, you felt the need to sign your PM's to me with your real name and I also removed your mention of other members names on this site - who were not involved in your discussion about the issue on the forum). Your PM:

So I get this in my PM inbox.

And I responded by addressing each of your points. I also left your PM in full, quoted at the bottom of my response to you as well.

You will see, nowhere did I ask you questions about what turns you on, etc, as you are trying to convey that I did in this thread when you insinuate that I asked you questions. I responded to your comments about your affairs by saying lying is bad.

What I did say, clearly, that your posting stuff like that is not acceptable.

And how do you respond to this?

I say to you... Don't post stuff like that on this site as it's not acceptable. Your response is to tell me what sexually arouses you and then ask me whether it turned me on.

There is no context. I tell you, it's not acceptable and go into detail and post links of where and what you said that was not acceptable. You respond and tell me what turns you on sexually and then ask me if it turns me on.

Do you understand what you did that was wrong?

Do you understand what sexual harassment means?

Because frankly, I am getting sick and tired of your dishonesty and your attempts to snidely infer that I somehow asked for you to sexually harass me via PM and to sexually harass others on this site.

    To put it bluntly..

Shut the hell up your perverted creep. You are not allowed to post your sexual dreams, fantasies, what turns you on, how you get off, pornography, and everything else inbetween on this site.

    What the fuck?

What part of WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR SEXUAL DREAMS didn't you understand?

We don't want to know about it. We don't want to read about it. We don't want you to post it on this site.

The answer to your question is NO!

    My God...

How god damn sick are you?
