wegs, that Post was for CptBork!
Do not know if you missed anything or if it was in any way important if you did.
    No "biggie"!
At any rate, you seem to be a lot more open and honest about the whole Syrian issue than a good amount of the Posters in this thread.
From my experience, most people who have ever actually had to serve as "boots on the ground", so to say - are not as quick to yell "War, War, Kill, Kill, Now, Now, Faster, Faster", as those that have always had other peoples kids do their actual fighting for them.

For instance, it has been mentioned, in this thread, that we do not hear much about Israel/Syria connection in the "media" - the "Chosen People" either own or control most of the "Media" - those same "people", either own or control most of the "disinformation agents" - so they can pretty much "choose" or "control" what gets disseminated.

wegs, chin up, positive thoughts - do not let other Posters or any misguided "media" turn you into one of those "War, War, Kill, Kill, Now, Now, Faster, Faster", type "sheople"!

I have. Many times. It's not my fault you don't recognise them.

Er, did I say the US? Or are you one of those types that thinks the US is the whole world?

Hey, you want to play policeman, stay on the job. One of them minor details again.

    @link : http://chasvoice.blogspot.ca/2013/08/obamas-source-on-syrian-chemical.html

Obama's 'Source' on Syrian Chemical Weapons is Israel's NSA
    Posted by Charleston Voice

    August 29th, 2013

A shadowy Israeli military unit is apparently the source of the “intelligence” that the Obama administration is using as justification for its planned attack on Syria.

The German magazine Focus and The Guardian are reporting that the majority of the information indicating dictator Bashir Assad’s use of poisonous gas comes from the 8200 unit of the Israeli Defense Forces.

The 8200 unit is Israel’s equivalent of the National Security Agency; it intercepts and collects electronic intelligence.

The evidence the unit collected apparently consists of a recording of two Syrian officials talking about the use of poisonous gas. There appears to be no physical evidence that the poisonous gas actually exists, yet US officials are discussing the possibility of an imminent attack on Syria. An attack that, as Anthony Gucciardi has warned us, could really be all about entering a ‘hot’ scenario with Russia and other nations who support Assad.

If these reports are true, then Obama’s pretext for attacking Syria is just as spurious as President George W. Bush’s claims that Iraq possessed nuclear weapons before the last war. Obama sharply criticized Bush for those claims.

Israel Planning for War with Syria

Israel is apparently preparing for a conflict with Syria, and Israeli newspapers have reported that the government is distributing gas masks to civilians and deploying troops to its border with Syria. The Israelis are apparently worried that Assad will attack their nation if the U.S. attacks Syria. Israel is holding military maneuvers in the Golan Heights near its border with Syria.

The chances of an all-out war in Syria seem to be growing, and Israel is on the front lines. Worst of all, the evidence being used to justify the conflict is questionable at best.

    Syria Plans Suicide Attacks

The Syrian Air Force is considering the use of kamikaze style suicide attacks on Western forces, which presumably include Israel. In such attacks, Syrian pilots would deliberately fly their jets into American aircraft or warships and possibly into Israel.

Claims have also been reported that Syria has 8,000 suicide martyrs ready to attack the U.S. and other forces in conjunction with the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah. There is no way to prove whether these claims are true or not, but if Syria has just a fraction of such martyrs, it could wreak a lot of havoc. Remember all the soldiers killed by suicide bombers in Iraq? It looks as if the United States is being dragged into another Middle Eastern war for questionable reasons.

I'm extremely confused. Are you genuinely appreciative of the viewpoint I've shared with you, or are you just pulling my chain? Let's see some statistics for the "chosen people" controlling the media, please. I hear the "Hebes" believe the sky is blue, must be why BBC also says so. Are you in the "US dun 9/11 with a space laser derp!" camp too?

The fact is this issue ties intimately in with Israel and I believe that's one of the biggest reasons it's not taken as seriously as other conflicts. It's not located on Europe's or America's doorstep, and there are too many people who would happily throw their freedoms away to someone like the Ayatollah in order to relieve themselves of a perceived Jewish NWO conspiracy which simply doesn't exist, or hoping one of its neighbours will give them the comeuppance they deserve for having a relatively prosperous society. You want to see where the most "War, War, Kill, Kill, Now, Now, Faster, Faster" is coming from? Read/watch Iran's PressTV and Hezbollah's Al Manure, it's a theme you'll find in virtually every article that has anything whatsoever to do with Israel or Palestine (and now also Sunnis who refuse to submit to Shia rule).

Again, I'm firmly of the belief Israel can protect itself from any serious threat in the region, but once again my concern is that the UN will stifle their ability to do so as civilian casualties rack up in Syria or Lebanon, and we'll end with another stalemate as in 2006 while the Shia crescent continues torturing, raping and killing its opponents and seeking to add nuclear arms to their existing chemical and biological arsenals. It won't be American troops risking their asses on the ground or knowingly walking into ambushes in populated neighbourhoods while civilians report their positions to Hezbollah by cellphone, so Americans shouldn't complain if those same neighbourhoods get flattened in self-defense once the rockets start flying from their vicinity towards Israel.

Below is Quoted from link :
    http://www.veteransnewsnow.com/2013...or-syria-rewards-for-syrias-neighbour-israel/

"Let’s remind ourselves that in the winter of 2008/9 Israel intensively bombed Gaza for three weeks killing 1,396 Palestinians including 345 children, 110 women and 117 elderly people and injuring and maiming some 5,450 more. Israel also destroyed or damaged 58,000 homes (ICAHD puts it nearer 42,000 of which 4,247 were totally destroyed), 280 schools, 1,500 factories and water and sewage installations."

"How extraordinary that the figures quoted – 1.429 including 426 children – are almost identical to those slaughtered in Gaza by the Israeli regime’s thugs during Operation Cast Lead. I don’t recall nearly so much moral outrage and condemnation from the White House for that atrocity, or any talk of lethal ‘punishment’ to be inflicted on Tel Aviv."

"And Israel’s forces used prohibited weapons like depleted uranium and white phosphorus shells. White phosphorus, Mr. Kerry, is an extremely nasty chemical weapon. Wasn’t that a red line?"

There is much more interesting reading at the link

And what do you think would have happened if Israel sat back and did nothing while over 100 rockets were fired daily? Do you think they could kill 10 000 Hamas operatives without touching a single innocent? If 1400 deaths warrant international sanctions for Israel, then what do 100 000+ deaths get for Assad and his allies, or for the Americans who served in Iraq?

It's kinda sad, too. Why didn't the Swedes get blamed for 9/11 and controlling the US government? Viking invaders trying to corner the world markets in cellphones, self-assembled furniture and horse meatballs, they need to be watched carefully... :bugeye: I can understand the suspicions about Israel's motives in supporting a Syria strike, and I feel that it would certainly be in Israel's interest to deal with the problem now rather than waiting for it to get worse. On the other hand, if the conspiracy theorists actually bothered to read anything in Israeli media that didn't serve their purposes, they'd notice that a lot of rightwing Israeli politicians and analysts are actually pretty antsy about the prospect of Al Qaeda on their doorstep and think it would be a very bad idea to impede Assad in any meaningful way.

CptBork, your opening line from Post #429 : - quote - "I'm extremely confused." - unquote
I believe those 3-words are the first true sentiments that you have Posted on this Thread!

CptBork, you then ask : - quote - "Are you genuinely appreciative of the viewpoint I've shared with you, or are you just pulling my chain?" - unquote
I stated in my Post #353 : "You would probably not believe me, if I told you,..." and "...and again you would probably not believe, if I were to tell you,..."!
I stated in my Post #365 : "I cannot, CptBork, begin to, honestly, tell you..." and "I am not even myself sure that I believe it, when I tell you...".
I Posted #365 in response to you statements in Post #362, which included : - quote - "My primary smell test as far as determining reliable sources of fact...". - unquote

CptBork, if you cannot use your incredible "smell test" abilities to even carefully read and truly understand the meanings of my Posts - how is it that your "smell test" is so great at discerning the validity of, or agenda behind ANY information, disinformation, facts or "Billshut" produced by PROFESSIONAL WRITERS?

CptBork, when you responded, in your Post #349, to my 4 questions asked in Post #347, with the techniques that a "Disinformation Agent" might use - that I made a point to include in Post #347 - well...you OUTED YOURSELF !!!

CptBork, I must repeat now - what your impeccable "Smell Test" must have missed as a TRUE FACT while reading my Post #365:
I am just...sorry...but, honestly, you made so much...so perfectly clear.

CptBork, you have indeed made your self perfectly clear - to me at least - and other Posters on this Forum also.
You attempt to answer questions with rhetoric, Strawmen statements, misdirection and just plain "Billshut".
You use name calling and false labeling in attempting to belittle, slander, ridicule or otherwise marginalize other Posters views, opinions, perceptions and even just open honest questions!

I, dmoe, must tell you CptBork, so use your "Smell Test" and read S-L-O-W-L-Y and CAREFULLY :
IF YOU TALK LIKE YOU WRITE - NOBODY LISTENS TO YOU !!!

BTW - here are "...some statistics for the "chosen people" controlling the media." that you asked for :

    http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/jews-do-control-the-media/

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVmiAR5nvJE

    http://rense.com/general44/sevenjewishamericans.htm

    http://www.realjewnews.com/?p=194

    http://theunjustmedia.com/Media/Six Jewish Companies Control 96% of the World’s Media.htm

Those are just a few of the results that my search engine returned - they will probably not pass your "Smell Test" -
but then again, selective vision has that effect when one chooses to employ it - and even give it such an ironically suitable name such as "Smell Test" !!!

...if you choose...you may perceive this as a "pulling my chain" moment for yourself, CptBork, if that "chain" is hooked to the flush valve of the waste receptacle that your "Smell Test" has mistaken for a source of validated facts!!!

I was just trying to be polite to you without jumping to premature conclusions. I wasn't completely sure whether you were a 9/11 truther brain injury lunatic type, or just really bad at expressing your viewpoint. Thank you for clearing everything up.

What is it with white supremacists, conspiracy loons and caps locks?

So do all the women and children being kicked, strangled and slapped around by your heroic anti-Zionist Assad Shabiha.

No, your questions are not open and honest, they're intended to paint me into a corner and deserve appropriately retarded responses.

Shouting only gets you positive attention at KKK rallies, not here.

You obviously didn't read the article. He said the Jews should be proud of surviving persecution from people like you and should not be afraid to exert their influence to make the world a better place. You just glanced at the author, title and maybe the first paragraph, and then decided it suited your agenda.

David Duke is a neo-Nazi white supremacist twat and former KKK Grand Wizard. I'm sorry you affiliate with him. He loves what Iran's trying to do to the Jewish people (as long as the "Muzzies" stay out of the US, an issue to deal with at a later date), and I'm sure the slaughter in Damascus brings back fond memories of Auschwitz.

Not going to waste my time with anymore of your racist tripe. If stupid, bigoted men like you ran the world we would indeed have peace, because the world would be a nuclear wasteland.

So, I was reading an article from The Jerusalem Post earlier and Israel of course is disappointed in the "stuttering" response from the world, with regards to Syria. The article went on that Syria was basically Iran's "testing ground, and that Israel feels alone in this battle and that it can't "count" on help from other countries.

So try to be objective...should we feel sorry for Israel? Hasn't the US always "been there" for Israel?

    Thoughts?

They know the US has its own priorities and I'm sure they respect that. If Obama backs down then obviously it would have been much smarter not to have said anything or drawn any red lines in the first place, but I don't think he will. I'm sure Israel believes America will have their back when the chips are down and a genuine national emergency arises, but America hasn't done much to stop terrorists from accumulating arms and starting clashes with Israel in the interim, and it's done far too little to draw attention to the methods of warfare the terrorists employ to the detriment of their own populations, as if Israel's to blame when a team launches rockets at its cities and then flees into homes next to a school.

P.S. With all the crazies populating the US these days, one really has to wonder if they can still be counted on to do the right thing for global peace when needed.

I feel sorry for the Palestinians. The Israelis have much the same attitude as Assad, they will fight till the last man.
I have hope that the Iranians will come to peace with the west.
I would like to see the Palestinians allowed to return home to Israel and that whole state becoming one nation. (Bi-cultural state). So instead of a two state solution a single harmonious state.
Then the Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon could turn their swords into plowshares, and withdraw their support for Assad. Assad would then fall. Another blood bath against the Alawites will result, but it will settle. Then there will be no more Syrian support for Iran. And what I would really like to see is the Kurds having their own nation. Don't you feel sorry for them, being divided up among 4 nations.
No I don't feel sorry for the Israelis.

I don't feel sorry for them; I just wondered if anyone else felt similarly.
    Very interesting points you make.

So...I was reading about other country's thoughts to the Syrian crisis.
And I honestly didn't think NZ was even on the list, but they would get involved if it meant helping in a defense effort.
It sounds like NZ would offer "moral support, but very interesting to note its opinion of the US.
I read that NZ doesn't want to be "America's puppet."
I'm paraphrasing ...I'll post the link to all of this tomorrow.

What is the tone of your fellow countrymen, with this situation?
