Robittybob1, as I have stated numerous times in numerous threads, the meaning of "dumbest", as I use in my moniker, has nothing to do with intelligence or level of learning, education or even knowledge. From my involvement on SciForums, it could, probably, more accurately be defined as meaning "most cursed"! A quip! I actually use "dumbest" as meaning - suffering the heavy restraints of values, morals, tenets, beliefs, principles and honesty. And being honest, I will add that the song/poem that I posted, was written by me, dmoe, and was about a close Lady friend of mine (beautiful voice that a God somewhere evidently created for singing), that was driven to attempt suicide by a Failed/Wrong from the get go/Broken episode with "LOVE". Sorry, if it burst your, or anyone else's conceptions/perceptions of me. The poster of the deleted "...." post, seems, to me at least, to be going through some rough times currently. Also, possibly over an episode with "LOVE". I would like to be able to say to that person ; Hang in there - persevere - this too shall pass - no matter how bad you hurt, you CAN SURVIVE WORSE - the further DOWN you feel, the GREATER OPPORTUNITY you have to PROVE YOUR REAL STRENGTH and pull yourself UP - you seem to have many friends who care deeply about you and are willing to give you any help and support you need, please accept it ! I do not know how to go about proving my sincerity - but I am very a very sincere person, especially in serious issues. I will leave a link to a video of a song about a Lady who had a lot worse problem - in hopes that the person could see that it, indeed, could be a WHOLE LOT WORSE. When friends of mine decry the pains of "doing time on planet earth", I have them watch this video or listen to an awesome live version the band recorded - it seems to help them - and I hope it will help this person, also. Robittybob1, Fail to follow! "...Deadest Man on Earth."! Although I will admit to be aged and at times, somewhat infirm - I have, after all, been " rode hard and put away wet " more times than I care to count - I refuse to "give up the Ghost", "kick the bucket", "take the Big Dirt Nap" or cease to enjoy life, just yet! If for no other reason, than to irk the multitudes of people of people who have told me, in no uncertain terms that they will "Cheer" my passing and if possible, even "dance on my grave'. I'm enjoying the birds singing in the sunshine out in the countryside, so whether I'm still accused or not at least I'm enjoying a day of freedom. I thought this would be a great place for the kids to grow up, horses, calves, dogs, cats, chickens, and a place to explore. We could even have a lamb to feed, now that is fun.

Since it is a Poem thread after all..... "Eternal life - Do you believe?" I think even Jesus had his moments of doubt. Personally, times ahead is not what I think about. No, my focus is on the Lord's Kingdom here and now, instead. Feeding the hungry, the job less and giving them bread. We don't store up treasure on Earth for robbers to steal, But our treasure is in Heaven for we know it is real. Now by faith we trust that the tally is kept right, Knowing the contract was sealed with the blood of Christ But as you say "the events are unfolding as they should" Reminding us daily we don't do evil, we just do good.
I do believe in an eternal life, for lack of a better word…’heaven.’ But, I can’t say that I believe the ‘version’ of it in the Bible. It would seem highly probable that anyone’s version in the Bible, is a guess, at best. Isaiah as depicted in the OT, had a ‘revelation,’ but I have revelations daily. Lol I’m not asking people to buy into my revelations. I think like with many things in the Bible, there seems to be a human component to everything. Meaning, God is described throughout the Bible as this being who has petty, human like qualities. Seems odd that God would 'reveal' himself in such a diminutive way. When I think of God, my own view…I think of something unfathomable. I believe God to be righteous and the ultimate judge, but still something unable to truly fathom. And therefore, to say…heaven is this or that…or eternal life is this or that…I just don’t feel ‘right’ doing so. So, yes I believe something ‘’awaits’’ us after we die. Awaits our souls, if you will. Beyond that, I can’t say what that may look like. Do you follow any sort of spiritual beliefs, Trooper?
