Last few weeks I have been at 170/60 with 52 bpm.

Where can we send flowers, it seems your time may be short. <Just kidding> However, your BP does appear to be at a dangerous level.

I agree completely. When mine started hanging around 140/90 @ 55 bpm the doc put me on Irbisartin 300's (type 2 angiotension receptor agonist). Now I cruise at about 110/70 @ 60 bpm which is right where the docs want it. Not bad for an active 62 years old, though.

Good luck is not enough . Add a prayer , that will give a positive out look to set body's condition " good luck , lives the body in limbo.

No limbo or prayer here either. Meditation.

Meditation is a different word for prayer . Some time I lay in bed and meditate or pray ( no loud words only mental activity ) I call it a silent prayer.

It is actually the same but different. Meditation involves the right temporal area of the brain while prayer involves the left temporal area. Meditation can cause robust myelination in the cerebral cortex leading to a healthy thickening of the cerebral cortex, prayer does not have this physiologic effect.

The actual practice differs in that prayer is directed thought, as in "oh god, deliver me from this and such" whereas meditation is not thinking or extremely restricted thinking as in counting the breaths. Both can deliver a healthy dose of serenity though, which can buffer the outward signs of Alzheimer's such that it may not even be evident the subject suffers from the disease. (This from the Wisconsin nun study)

At least September before I may see a specialist on the matter.
