"Nothingness" perhaps the preferred absence of color (and absence of everything else) for the afterlife and antelife nihilist. Ironically, in computer graphics black and white could be considered the same "neutral color" varying only in terms of brightness -- opposite extremes of maximum and minimum [zero]. With other neutral degrees of the grayscale in between ("neutral" referring here to how the three primary colors composing them are all set at the same hexadecimal or RGB values.)
source: wikipedia In some respects that quote is not disimillar to a logical fallacy, afterall if light is completely absorbed how can you have a colour? What you have is a "Null" value commonly being understood to be a colour. Black pigmentation used in clothing dye etc is itself usually a blend of dark colours like blue, red and green and this is often proven when clothing fades with a slight "hue" towards a different colour.
