You're making these claims, Willie. It's up to you to back them up.

No question there's a threat from climate change, but your explanations are wrong, go against basic observations and measurements, and in their own little way detract from attention to the real problems we face. Only a little bit, as no one is going to spend a lot of time here, especially if your only responses are to complain about no one defending basic mainstream science, and absolutely no effort to defend your own.

Okay. The stars have not shifted significantly since man began charting them. Certainly not enough to call it 26 degrees. I refer to any available star chart. Or compare older charts to the current night sky.

Your link to the Chandler wobble was interesting, but I guess you didn't bother to notice how much the wobble is. Go ahead, reread what your link says, and see how posting it to support your claim is amusing

REPLY: The chandler's wobble has increase by 180 Degrees. Open scientific website, and get a big laugh.

Got another question you won't answer. On your oil and gas powering the Earth's core...what powered it before petroleum was formed? I'm sure you know where most of our petroleum comes from, its origin, and age, right?

    You first.
That's not how science works. You are the one with the new "theory". It is up to you to prove it.

No, he needs to learn to read links before he posts them as evidence. If he won't even bother to go back and see what he used wrong, there's no helping him.

Of course. If we had a background in earth science, we'd notice that the sun feels hotter on our skin, and make a bunch of stuff up to explain how that will lead to cannibalism. As it is we go with the nonscientific mumbo jumbo like the Earth's ephemerides, the changing composition of the atmosphere, seismic studies of the Earth's core, measurement of average insolation, looney stuff like that.

He's Bruce Willis. He can do anything. He could certainly stop cannibals from eating his daughter. Can you present any proof for your wild unsupported accusation that cannibals COULD eat his daughter?

What else could we expect from a crank? His reading comprehension is likely to be as poor as is his knowledge of geology and science in general. He's nothing but a nut lilting at windmills. <shrug>

Quite the opposite; with your state of ignorance, why would anyone listen to YOU?? I happen to have had an *excellent* education while you failed almost completely.

Here is my rebuttal. All scientific evidence refutes your silly fantasy.

Yes this happens about every 250,000 years and in maybe in the next 500 to several thousand years it will flip again

Wrong. The magnetic field has decreased by about 10%, not the earths gravity. The earths gravity is determined by that mass of the earth which has of course not changed since the 19th century.

    Strike one.

Well this is wrong and just plain stupid. The tilt of the earth on it's axis for the past 5 million years or so has been between about 22 and 24 degrees, we are presently at about 23.5 degrees.

    Strike two.

Wrong. The earth magnetic poles are wandering at about 35 miles per year, NOT reversing.

    Strike three.

Wrong. The rotation of the earth is slowing down due to the transfer of angular momentum from the earth to the moon.

    Strike four

Wrong. There is very little change in the wobble over time and it is driven by changes in the mass distribution on earth such as glaciers and earthquakes.

    Strike five.

The moon is moving away from the earth for the same reason that the rotation speed of the earth is slowing - the transfer of angular momentum between the earth and the moon.

This is wrong and stupid. The sun is not getting hotter and brighter in the summer. People think the sun feels hotter on their skin?? Really, that is your evidence! Bwwaahhhhh. The earth is not moving closer to the sun for crying out loud.

    Strike six.

Wrong. The polar ice melt is due to global warming which cannot have anything to do with and additional tilt since there isn't any.

    Strike seven,

Wrong. Global warming has nothing to do with your 'earths orbit is destabilizing' fantasy.

    Strike eight,

Just garbage. Global warming is not gaged by CO2 levels or by winter temperature it is gaged by the average global termperature over the whole year.
Winters are not sunnier. The earth's orbit is not destabilizing.

This whole post is one big fantasy not supported by the evidence.

Fear of the unknown is your worst enemy. You can cure this by learning some basic science.

Reply: The individual that wrote the first website has no credibility. How on earth would he know what happen 200,000 years ago, my goodness? His views are based of speculation, and circumstantial evidence.

Second website deals with the jet scream, and my blog doesn't cover that, so what that's all about?

The third website cover the aurora borealis. Its derived from sun flares, what's your point?

The fourth website covers greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are not responsible for global warming. Earth orbit around the sun is destabilizing. How does your greenhouse gas theory explain higher, than normal temperatures in winter? How does it explain the sunny, and warm temperature the southern part of America is experiencing during winter. Greenhouse gases only absorb solar IR radiation. It can't cause the sun to shine in winter. The sunny warm winters that the southern part of the United state is experiencing is caused by the additional 26 degree shift in earth's axis. This additional 26 degree shift is exposing the southern part of America to the sun. The United state has been experience higher, than normal temperature for the last five winters. Greenhouse gas is only a summer phenomena, not a winter phenomena, sir.

Holy crap this should be cesspooled or if the mods are feeling real nice then maybe pseudo science. I went to this guys first source and it was unbelievable. I think the site was written by a by a lobotomized 12 year old on LSD. That site states that the earth's axis is tilted at 49.5 degrees but we just can't tell. Do you know why we can't tell? Well he figures because we can't sense the rotational speed of the earth then we couldn't tell that the earth had shifted from 23.5 to 49.5! Jumping Jesus Christ, this is the source that our genius williemcdonald is using! Hey williemcdonald, do you think that the increased tilt would have any affect on the duration of day light in different lattitudes? How freaking pitiful.

Then the idiot site goes on to confuse the melting of sea ice with the melting of the ice in Greenland and Antartica. The site says that the sea will rise 297 this year or maybe not until 2020. Of course this rise will cause the earth to roll on its side like Uranus.

I assume that williemcdonald is joking or a troll. I would be amazed if someone who actually believed this stuff had the brain power to use a computer,
