the question of a god seems to be a recurring theme.
you might find the following interesting.
god actually exists, somewhere out there.
    that's right, it's an ET.
their race found our planet with its "humanity".
but not what you perceive of as humanity, the remnants of which you find in the fossil record.
these "aliens" fixed our DNA to be beautiful.

    comments?

there is an explanation somewhere, there HAS to be.
i fail to believe it's all hogwash.

That's hardly original. If that is your conclusion then the riddle of God was solved by one of the earliest advanced societies known to man.

The Sumerians had a Theory of everything based on sound and music. They had complex Astrology formulas, and even though it is still considered woo today this is one of the places it came from. They also seemingly knew advanced Astronomy and could describe planets like Neptune up close before our satellites ever arrived there. They had advanced maths and could calculate the areas of triangles, and cylinders. They had a written language. They had many musical instruments and literature including a lot of fiction. They knew farming and agriculture. They were surprisingly advanced for their day considering they existed before Catholics will even admit mankind existed.

The Sumerians believed Aliens came down to earth and altered us so we could serve them. They believed these Aliens were Gods, and often described them as very large beings.

So if your Theory is that God is an Alien, then it is perhaps one of the oldest written stories known to man.

The Aliens even had a name .. The "Annunaki"

So... It appears your notion of God being an Alien was proposed many thousands of years ago. Before the Egyptians even arose.

That doesn't solve the riddle of god, it simply pushes it back another step; if these aliens created us, who created the aliens?

Replacing "God" with "Aliens" isn't any more useful.

Why does it matter to you whether God's existence is real or not? If you get something out of believing then you should continue to believe.

Yes, you are failing hard. It's all hogwash, both the aliens and the God.

It's not a new idea.. and it doesn't answer any questions. It just moves the goalpost.

DNA isn't beautiful, if you're implying beauty is perfection.

not that he, it, they exist but more along the lines of solving lifes riddles.
    something must explain the evidence.
the question is essentially "is there something more than nature allows".
what was that saying again, ah yes, you can't get something for nothing.
    sayings are hardly evidence though.

The evidence of believers existing? Gullibility, delusion, superstition, lack of education in science, observer bias, cultural peer pressure...

All the evidence we have so far says the answer to your question is "no". Also the "something from nothing" assertion is likely incorrect as we have never seen an instance of *nothing* (i.e. an absence of everything and anything). Very likely the notion of an objective *nothing* isn't real and *something* always exists.

Now the current view is that the lilens are diminutive. Why'd they shrink, and will they eventually disappear?

At present they seem to be proliferating as microbial parasites, infecting the brain with delusions and a tendency to reject science (probably a defense mechanism, so we wouldn't develop the radar to detect their saucers, which are awful roomy for them now, BTW.)

Aha. So the aliens evolved, thus they endowed earthly primordial cells with the ability to mutate--and evolutionary biology is true after all. Riddle solved.
