Sure, I read the books and I even use to believe that there were probably ETs flying around. Then I grew up and realized that there are no ETs flying around, there is no big footses, no lock ness monster or ghosts. There are just people who believed in fantasies.
The point of view that Origin has, was my point of view at one time, and it is still the view of the vast majority. Until now I have seen very little evidence to support the ideas outside. The reports always puzzled me, and I knew that they often came from reliable sources, eg airline pilots. However, when I came across another subject relating to ancient megalith buildings and the technology used to build them, I found a few inexplicable anomolies described by those who had experienced seeing or dealing with UFO's and saw many other connections. What we generally think is not possible, is in fact possible and has been done before, and in the modern world been in progress for at least 80 years. There is no need for a conspiracy, because anybody who witnesses it, is discredited by the fact that there is no scientific explanation for it. And anybody who questions science is considered insane. I would like to see people who have had confusing encounters know what happened and be validated as sane.
Origin So the people who think that these craft exist are all fantasists are they? Apart from being 100% incorrect, that is a ridiculous and frankly downright insulting thing to say about the vast numbers of people who have had their lives changed massively, and often for the worst, after a close encounter with this phenomena. You say there is no compelling evidence? I'm afraid that I beg to differ. The evidence for the existence of these things is undoubtedly compelling and I believe that to say otherwise is to distort the facts. Unfortunately some people appear to be either ignorant of the facts or in complete denial of them. Which are you? You mention that you have read 'some books' but I would have to question which ones. There has been a vast amount of complete nonsense published on this subject down the years which, I believe, has resulted in many people not taking it seriously enough. You should start by looking at the Cometa Report. Try Googleing it. Gustav "what about santa? surely he is real?" I fail to see any logic in equating UFOs with Santa. Can you explain what you mean?
Alex G I think the only thing I can say in response to your two points is to reiterate what I said in my last post. "Unfortunately some people appear to be either ignorant of the facts or in complete denial of them. Which are you?" So have you read the Cometa Report Alex? Do you even know what it is without Googleing it?
Forget unidentified flying objects. If the wind picks up a plastic bag, and you can't make out what it is, then technically it's a UFO. What we're looking for are alien spacecrafts. Alien spacecrafts are real. They have hyperdrives and they can travel between solar systems like a trip to the store. They are incomprehensibly more technically advanced than we are. If you don't believe in ET or alien abductions/alien contact, that's perfectly ok. It is convenient for ET that you dismiss the experiences of contactees. ET can do what ever they need to do without a bunch of scientists trying to figure out what they're up to. ET can influence attitudes of humanity without leaving a trace of evidence of their existence. I remember back in 1979 when ET was concerned about the environment of the earth. In the 1980's, ET was concerned about the danger of nuclear war. In their own unique way, they changed attitudes around the world about nuclear proliferation and environmentalism. But don't worry. You don't need to believe in their existence. It's probably better if you don't know they're there.
Of course. What would you call someone who believes in something without proof? Perhaps if they realized that they simply misidentified something or had lucid dream it would not be so life changing. The problem is they have convinced themselves that something is real that is not. Yes. OK I have seen no compelling evidence. I looked, it ain't there. Sorry. Neither, there are no facts to ignore or deny. I would be overjoyed if there were ETs. I think it would be absolutly wonderful. Unfortunately no amount of pretending they are flying around earth can make it true! OK. Tell me a good one then and I will look at it. You’re talking about the report made by UFO enthusiasts that was masqueraded as an official government report?
Faithful. Passionate. Motivated. Creative. Visionary. You overestimate your ability to understand reality. What do you call a bunch of intellectual elitists telling other people that they're life changing experiences are not real? Answer: a waste of time. Squander.

From what I have learned , the CIA has been the force behind the cover up of the truth of UFO's , from the 1950's As well as the NSA
That you're a gullible fool who will believe any piece of nonsense you come across. You're living proof that 4 million years of evolution isn't enough.
