The average Joes of Afghanistan.
Muslims in Australia.

The people. The Outrage. Where is it?
Where are the Imams, safely settled in the west? Where is their anger? Where are their reasoned comments, where their own blood is "boiling" like Tiassa's?

I haven't heard a thing, really. Zip. Nada. Squat.
I've heard a western reaction to a deplorable event. I've heard nothing from those in the heart of it. Where is their discourse, their outrage, their anger, their opposition to all we hold dear?
Where are the Muslims in Sydney, Melbourne, have they not the courage to protest this as they have Carmelita Matthews copping a speeding fine and claiming racism? Or coming out in protest against a silly little video?

Yeah. There you are, protesting anything you can safely proclaim offends your sensibilities; but when a teenager gets shot in the head by a religious group for wanting such a simple thing as an education, you're nowhere to be seen, you ridiculous cowards.

Here's a challenge to all of you supposed Muslims who want only peace and a fair go; come out. Not against a police officer who apparently evinced racism against Carmelita Matthews for driving like a clown. Not for some idiot making a religious video.
But for a young girl wanting to learn something.

Two days after a Taliban-orchestrated attack on teen activist, Malala Yousafzai, triggered an uproar in Pakistan, more than 50 Islamic Scholars from the ‘Sunni Ittehad Council’ condemned the incident as unacceptable.

The Express Tribune reports that in a collective fatwa, a religious edict, issued in Lahore on Thursday, the scholars asserted that the Taliban’s interpretation of Islam defies and distorts the actual interpretation of the Shariah.

“Islam does not stop women from acquiring education and by attacking Malala the Taliban have crossed the limits of Islam,” the scholars noted, according to Dawn.

In the real world Australians lose jobs (over a hundred high paying engineering jobs went to China this year over the Carbon Tax). Now, if those jobs were here and then went, sure, people might protest the tax. But, they were never here - so people can't see the connection and don't protest.

Muslims can't see the connection between protecting this girls civil liberties and protecting their own - so they don't protest.
