    et al,

I know that it is naive and a bit immature, even crazy-ish, to believe that Aliens live among us; that Aliens have visited our little planet, circling a very average star, on the edge of an ordinary spiral galaxy.

But the child in me, complete with the imagination, would (very much) like to think there is a sliver of evidence to suggest that we (Earth) have been visited by an advanced civilization. And that, someday, I will come to their notice and be whisked-away on a great adventure to learn the secrets of the universe.

    I could happen! (Not...)

I will say that I marvel at the intricate patterns of the crop circles.

    Most Respectfully,
    R

It is not impossible that aliens have visited us, and not left any traces. There could be a number of reasons for them to decide not to interfere with us.

However, if they did decide to communicate, it is absurd to think they would do so by making patterns in corn.

Again, there are no crop circles that could not have been made by humans, so the simple conclusion is that they all are.

After the tremendous expenditure of energy and other resources it took them to get here, if they were going to leave evidence of their presence they would surely want it to be A) Impossible to doubt, B) Easy to understand, and C) Rather durable so future, smarter generations could also study it.

"Crop circles" fail all three of these tests. They are reminiscent of the ways that gods and other fantastic, imaginary beings are said to communicate with us. "Ye must have faith in order to understand..."

Space alien doodling using automated circulating gravity fields.

It doesn't take that much energy. But it does take some extremely sophisticated gravity field generator equipment. With a strong enough gravity field (and the right geometry) the spacecraft creates an event horizon around the spacecraft. This places the spacecraft into hyperspace. After that, interstellar travel is easy. Although navigating might be difficult.
Not necessarily. They're friendly neighbors. They want to be part of our sci-fi fantasies and our daydreams of wonderfulness. If they gave us absolute proof, they would quickly become the central theme of everything that terrifies us. Do you get what I mean? Leaving absolute proof could terrify a lot of people.
Human beings like to be challenged intellectually. There might be a hidden message in crop circles.
It's a good bet that the Ashtar Command is a form of alien contact. It's telepathy that fuels a very positive image of alien beings. To skeptics, it's a fantasy. To the contactee, it's a life changing spiritual experience. What better way is there to create a positive repoire with a hostile and dangerous race (humans)?

Even IF aliens visited since say 1900 here in the USA the government would conceal anything. That they could even IF they did a bad job

look at Roswell. And IF aliens came our environment may be totally wrong for them. Also they most likely not come in some small tin can cramped space craft. Or show us there best Rembrant.

I wouldn't go so far as to say alien visitation is impossible, but there's no reason to believe it has happened. Crop circles aren't of alien origin, "Ashtar Command" is idiot nonsense, and thetans are a conman's invention. The lights you see in the sky at night are terrestrial objects, or weather phenomena, or comets, but they're not alien spaceships. No one is being abducted, no one is being probed, certainly no government officials are striking deals with extraterrestrial ambassadors (how would they even know who our leaders are?).
