I'm interested in hearing your story, and how you felt / were treated. Thanks everyone I adore this place!
Yes, I was for driving without car insurance they said, but by the morning I was released and they found that it was a mistake by my insurance company who didn't put me as paid up. Why do you ask, are you considering jail time soon?
OMG! I got arrested once.. I had completely forgot to take care of a ticket that i recieved..(i blame my adhd) cop must have ran my plate cause i wasn't doing anything wrong (i suspect the new auto look up,camera see's plate and automaticly looks it up) he pulled me over and told me there was a warrant for my arrest(i think i posted this somewhere here) he was real cool about it..i made bail three hours later for 255 bucks..which made me wonder how much it cost to arrest me, i looked it up and it said it cost a little over 3000 to arrest someone..our tax money at work..(can you say deficit?) also..they did not tell me that they reported it to the DMV and the DMV suspended my licenses for failure to appear..i say this because just the other day a cop pulled me over and told me my license was suspended..(its fixed now) If your gonna be a cop, use some common sense, there are ALOT of ppl out there who don't mean any harm, some just can't afford to jump through all the overlegislated/overregulated hoops..(like come on..really?..you need a license to paint fingernails???)
Yes. I was arrested for some videos I didn't return to the video store. A few months went by. I had also moved. I didn't think about it. I just thought I was just going to collections. Then, I was in a friends car who didn't fully make a stop at a stop sign. When the cop was giving my id back, I reached for it and then he clicked the cuff on my hand. It was like he did this like a practiced magician. It was so slick. He told me I had a warrent for my arrest. I was baffled. I couldn't imagine what was going on. I got out of jail almost immediately. The prosecutor claimed 'I knowingly kept possessioin of rented property', but in my testimoney to the judge I said I had moved and had not recieved the letter. He made me pay for the videos, and everything was settled. I think a garnishment would have cost the tax payers less. I was also arrested for jaywalking. I just put one foot on the road is all and took a church pamplet from a lady in a car.
I've been caught stealing, once. When I was five. I enjoy stealing, it's just as simple as that. Well, it's just a simple fact. When I want something, and don't want to pay for it.
I was once arrested for rash driving but left after 2 hrs of arresting me and now i don't feel like driving rashly.

Yes I was arrested for possession of marijuana at age 13, and arrested for disturbing the peace at 20. Being arrested for possession was a good thing it was the first time I bought pot, my parents didn't punish me just looked very disappointed and hurt. That was the most potent thing they could have done I felt so awful that I punished myself and changed my ways. The disturbing the peace thing was a fluke I rented a summer house with a bunch of friends at the jersey shore. We had a lot of partys and were used to the police coming we always remained calm and respectful and it worked out fine but one night a friend came to visit and when the police showed up he panicked and ran which triggered a herd response in the rest of us, we ran too and were arrested. Stupid really because the guy that ran had done nothing wrong he was a straight lace guy.
I know people who were arrested on drug charges and they had a 90 day stay in the county jail which had a population of about 4000 to 5000 inmates and then one year of monitored probation with weekly drug testing and unscheduled personal visits and home searches, plus they had to pay for 20 visits to a drug counseling class and 30 hours / week of community service for the duration of the probation. That's a lot of incentive not to put yourself into the system a second time. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
