I do think the main theme of this thread was handled some time ago. But I'm somewhat flexible with my topics and don't always mind a little off track now and then.

I always wonder why many of these types of people shot themselves. Most don't even run out of bullets. Can't break a record if you don't put any effort into it.

 

Could you be a little more specific? I believe there are lot's of killers that wouldn't think of shooting themselves. If I had to guess I'd say spree killers are the one's most likely to go out with a bang, rather than be taken alive.

 

In answer to question: Old and terminally ill, and in significant pain. As far as my target / victim they would be the same.

When I was younger and more sure I was correct about things, the victim, if I could get close to him, would be some political leader I thought was doing great harm but with the passage of years, I have come to doubt I know enough to make that choice.

Thus now, I think, it might be possible and useful to organize a sequential assisted suicide group. - I.e. when old, terminally ill and in intractable pain, I join the group and as the initiation fee, I kill a member (who is also old, terminally ill and in great pain)*. That earns me a spot in the list of the "to be killed."

Problem with simple suicide is that often you blotch the job -For example, after loss of consciousness body vomits out the pills you swallowed or the bullet misses your heart or passes non-lethally thru your brain, etc. with you still alive but in even worse shape when released from the hospital.

Your authorized killer, can shoot you again, suffocates you if you vomit up the pills while you are unconscious, etc.

I doubt if there are in my city, enough terminally ill, in sever pain people to make this mutual assisted suicide plan work, and it might be months before a new qualified person applies to be a member of the group and kills you - earning his place on the list of next to be killed.

*worst thing to do, IMHO, when in that final stage of life, is to go to a hospital and let the doctors extend your life, at great cost to your heirs and with zero point to their efforts. When you finally get to die, the doctors will say: "We did everything we could to save him." But in fact they just enriched themselves and the hospital as they interfered with nature. Dying is the last and necessary task all must do. - It is part of nature´s plan. Don´t let doctors drag the job out and make it even less pleasant for you.

This private group idea is very inferior to a public service version, but forced by stupid public morality and may not work. Fortunately, for the rich at least, the Swiss government offers an exit service, to the well qualified. Just like in life, the poor must suffer more with their final work.

I think all terminally ill and in great pain people should be given all the hereon they need for pain control and that better feeling before they die, and truly sorry if they get addicted.

I would definitely consider it something to think about before posting such disturbing fantasies online for all to see. There is no telling how your innocent goofing off may be later used against you in court if you are ever accused of something heinous.

I got through the first 10-20 posts before I was both sadistically amused and terribly disturbed by my own amusement that I just couldn't hold back from registering any more.

The sad thing is more probably than not if anyone did scan the thread they would take it out of context of what it is. Imagine if any high profile case was out where the suspect's character was in question as to whether or not his actions were justified or just his nature to want to kill someone. The media and prosecutors would be all over a thread like this if that suspect had posted something relevant to the thread even if he truly was just joking around like everyone else.

 

Yes but that's another topic. In this day and age you must become aware of the online footprint you are leaving in your tracks, while not putting yourself in a position where that information might ever become a problem. Just like when you are in public, you have to assume someone will always be around with a cellphone that can take your picture and call 911 on the spot or while you are in your car driving erratically. It's tough being a fuck-up in this world we live in now.

Please be assured that we are low on the watch list for LEO, who has undoubtedly stopped by for a read here and there on occasion.

There is a list of hot - button topics that will get a site marked for closer scrutiny, stuff like child pornography, religious and/or racial extremism, instructions on making WMD's, calls to overthrow the government, open arrangements to commit heavy felonies (robbery, murder, grand theft etc) and the like.

The reaction of the majority of site users and staff is also a factor. As you may have noted, some of us bitch - slap the real nasties and crazies when they get carried away and they either chill out a bit or go away.

I am sure that a few regulars can think of examples from both of those camps.

As I explained in post 206, there may be later. I also started a poll some years ago asking if Billy T should be banned.

As I recall, I voted yes as I gave such strong reasons for the banning that I convinced myself, but I have now become so arrogant, I can´t think of any :bugeye: - Perhaps you can help me out, even start a new poll? :shrug:
