HI! I've been worried about this for the long time and it seemed that I'm positive. I need to ask this to all you guys. Well, sorry for not introducing first..I'm female, 31 with a husband and two sons..

    I have the following symptoms.

    -Frequent memory lapses
    -Mood swings
-I always argue with my mind
    -Uncontrolled emotions
    -Unthoughtful acts
    -I often switched my behavior

Are these all signs of insanity? or as what my friend said..."Schizophrenia"?

    Thanks to all you guys...

I would strongly recommend speaking to a health professional (ie. doctor) with any of the concerns you expressed in this thread.

    Thanks.

I've already set a schedule for a psychologist about this matter. And I don't know..even the thought of seeing a psychologist kills me...

And I always have to stay away from my sons everytime I'm not in the mood or I end up hurting them.

There is nothing wrong with seeing a psychologist! As a matter of fact I personally think it is an extremely responsible and inteligent step. Good for you!

My first thought was adverse reaction to weight control drug. I suppose you're not taking any medication - even birth control and arthritis pills count; so do herbal nutritional supplements. Second guess might be hormonal problems.

I wouldn't go straight to the psychologist; i'd consult a GP first, maybe get some blood-work done. It could be as simple as overactive thyroid.

I second the suggestion from Jeeves. The female hormonal cycle is variable between individuals and can manifest as any and all of the symptoms you list in your opening post. Thyroid conditions are another and having had friends who have dealt with same, I agree that a GP should be your first stop.

That which affects our body also affects our mind and all food, beverage and supplements/medications do this to some degree.

The converse is also true in that how we think affects how we feel.

    It's a feedback loop.

Excellent that you recognize that something is out of balance and are seeking professional help. Children are incredibly observant and your inconsistencies will be confusing and frightening to them, in my experience.

All the best to you, monique06.

The fact that you recognize that you have a problem , that is a good step.
Beside seeking professional help make an effort to control your mood

HI guys! I just been into my Psychologist yesterday and good..he said that it's just all because of too much depression and that even though sanity and insanity are just thin hair apart, he just said that i don't have to worry about these things. worrying causes more depression and that it attacks even the smallest part of my thought. One thing that makes everything clear though is that I am just having an "Hysteria" and "might" have a Personality Borderline Disorder..he required me to have some therapy and counseling then..hehe.

    I thank that's just good.

Well, I also been too some forums and I gladly thanked all of you guys...everything is just great!
