A man will work from sun to sun.
but a women's work is never done.

    It takes two to tango.....

Maybe that's why they get paid less.

A sadly verifiable statistic which undoubtedly contributes to chronic fatigue syndrome in the female and in men getting less sex as a result.

    You're doing it wrong! :bugeye:

It's not flowers that we want or chocolates that we need......some help with the domestic work, volunteered, means far more to most women.

Especially if you can do it correctly.....

Given the choice between sex and housework, I'm always very clear on what I'd prefer to be done.

    Me.

    LOL......

We were discussing the preferences of the female. Kidnapping her agenda is compromising, not to be confused with a workable compromise.

Your solution would leave the female with less time and energy to attend some of the domestic matters that need reasonably be attended in the interests of personal health and comfort of both parties.

Does the female have a preference for housework over sex? That would be a mighty unusual female!

Ah dust and dirt only comes back anyways, cleaning need not be as frequent as some obsessives think. Little bit of dirt never did me any harm.

And having more time for *ahem* marital relations creates a far more happy household, and it makes logical sense not to clean each room until we're finished in there....

    TMI?

Domestic matters are considerably more than cleaning the floor and dusting, both areas in which I am considerably relaxed, lol....

Proper nutrition involves some forethought to menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking and clean-up. This activity alone can be very demanding in a household with others to attend and can become quite frenzied with the annual holiday and visiting agenda pending.

The beauty of working graveyards is that I can dodge that bullet. Can't attend because I am working. No need to cook and bake for functions that none in this household is attending.

Not obsessive about dust but I do like clean clothes and home cooked meals etc.

One of those are you.....furniture sex? Must be watching too many episodes of 'Desperate Housewives' or some other soap.

One great thing about these women is they take themselves out of the dating pool(we hope). There are enough crazy ones.

Pfft! yourself, that is a complete and utter cope out. I'm the one home in our relationship more often so I'm the one who does the shopping and the cooking and a) PB STILL whinges about cleaning constantly to the point I think she is OCD some of the time and b) umm we STILL don't spend enough time in bed.

oh and BTW chronic fatigue syndrome isn't about being tired, its a medical condition believed to be caused by a previous episode of Glandular Fever which damages the brain so that its almost impossible to do anything without taking stimulants

I think many women are drawn to a male that is a celebrity of any kind. Millionaire, rock star, serial killer, whatever. So long as he's a celebrity, it gets their juices flowing.

You think that might have something to do with an income disparity that has not disappeared? Marrying a celebrity is almost certain to raise a woman's standard of living. If she can get a good prenup it might even bring her (and any children they have) at least modest economic security for the rest of her life.

As for serial killers, well most of them are men. When we start having a larger population of female serial killers in our prisons, then we can check to see if there's a line of men who want to court them too.

FR that's bunkum. Your argument would assume that the average income is millions anyway, its not. Here its around 35-40,000 or even less. Basically your arguing that all women are just prostitutes selling there body to the highest bidder which is crap

    Hello Asguard,

I wonder why you would choose to reply to my reply to Anti-Flag?

My Pfft was in response to his query of TMI.

I was not talking about chronic fatigue syndrome.

Women do seem to hold domestic matters as a higher priority than many, if not most, men, and men do seem to share the common lament that there is insufficient time spent between the sheets, lol....

How fortunate I am to have a partner who well understands me. A Stats Canada representative came by today in the hopes of doing a survey that requires 2 hours. Hubby was willing to do it, yet the woman wanted to interview me.

I politely advised her that "It's not going to happen. This is my day off and the first day in weeks warm enough to work the horses, two of which are saddled and ready."

Hubby had likewise told her the same. She can return on a day when the temperatures are not fit for such outdoor activities. (An appointment would be an intelligent option for her to utilize.)

Now Hubby is taking me for dinner at the closest restaurant (7 miles) which just happens to serve the best Chinese food in the Yukon. Oh yes, and last night he did the dishes and this morning he cooked us a marvelous breakfast.

As for why some women are attracted to males with unsavory backgrounds, I haven't a clue. I will leave that for yourself and others to ponder.

I think it's much more primal than that. I think women are attracted to alpha males in the same way men are attracted to women with above average physical attributes. Anything that distinguishes a man from the herd, that makes him stand out or be seen as dominant in some way will raise his stock among the fairer sex.

There may be considerable accuracy in your remarks above, madanthonywayne.

A serial killer just does not fit my own concept of an 'alpha male'.

The 'fairer sex'. It has been a while since I have encountered the use of that phrase to describe women. Quaint.

Suffice it to say that he is a most attractive and charming man and has the demonstrated ability to tolerate my willfulness and idiosyncrasies.

'Cute' is a rather unusual adjective, in that it has several different meanings. Which one(s) do you suggest applies to yourself?

Far be it from me to compare the charms of gentlemen who care to grace me with their company. You are all delightful in your own way.
