The boundary between science and the spiritual is artificial.

    No it doesn't.

    Take your own advice:
But in your case you shouldn't overstep your boundaries into making false claims.

Which indicates your dog displays the same happiness you feel when you read your bible and not care about the truth. Ah Bliss.. to ignore all but what you are told is the truth and be happy like dog being petted and lied to.

To produce fusion in the lab was an intelligent approach by scientists . It have taken work to bring the elements together , then it was necessary force to bring the atoms together to expel the internal energy to fuse .
So what dies this have to do with God ?

Post # 92 this person is a compulsive writer and craps many irrelevant things

It's a direct analogy to your "proof" that life was designed.

    You got that right.

    Mod Note

I do not want to read another post about how right one's God is, or preaching about one's God or religion. We do have a Religion sub-forum for that, so take it there.

This is a science sub-forum. Not a religious one. As much as the thread title is goading, it is best to not pander to the religious individuals need to preach.

To wit, this thread does for now belong in this sub-forum, as we can discuss why people need or think they need religion to be happy. There is a herd mentality there and the desire to please for eternal happiness. We saw it in Jonestown and in Waco, where people were so blinded by their belief that they were willing to die for the very people who were lying to them.

But a direct warning to those who seem to believe that this thread is the perfect avenue for preaching. I will delete your posts. I will also delete posts of those who goad or insult the 'believer's' in this thread.

If you cannot know or understand the notion of "truth", then there is nothing we can do for you and there is really no point in your continuing with this discussion. This is not a help site.

    @arauca --

The instant religion stops making physical claims, until then you can shut up and bear with the skeptical inquiry. Who knows, you might even learn something that way, I know that science has taught me a hell of a lot about religion.

The truth is, and it's a sad truth, that you appear to have not single clue as to what you're talking about.

But the Sun didn't have to happen in the lab, right? The particular conditions can arise in nature, even if it is somewhat rare, and takes time? Doing something in the lab only proves that it can happen in principle in nature.

I'm not sure what you think life has to do with God. For me a rock is just an unlikely an object as a cell.

Truth is when an idea / notion in your mind matches actual reality.

Or you could do both, which is how religion was practiced for the million or so years before churches.

Sure, there is plenty of archeological evidence. Also look at so-called stone age cultures recently discovered. The rejection of entheogens in religion is a relatively recent phenomenon.
