I had an interesting conversation with an ex-Mormon. Their beliefs are quite complex and surprising. Although I'm an atheist, I do find their ability to break out of traditional Christianity refreshing. I think it's good if religions re-invent themselves periodically.

Mormonism was not born from a reformation of an existing religion, however. Although irrelevant, our beliefs really make sense to me (for example, a main point is that Earth is part of our learning to become like God and have spirit children - God wasn't just lucky and heaven isn't boring).

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, performing 'America, The Beautiful'.

Also, The United States Marines Hymn performed by them.

There is considerably more 'Mormon' going on than most may be aware of.

3 that is what I was trying to talk to you about . The children of God . You know what the seed is ? Check out Hebrew in the christian new Testament of The Book. It will tell you all you need to know about the seed. It is not quite like your daddy done did . Don't go all in there with preconceived ideas now. With an open mind it will be like reading it for the first time

I am crying dear . Why do you do that to me . The Tabernacle is right . The one at the Temple is so so acoustically great . Sound engineers could not do a better job . You can hear pin drop from the podium all the way back to the back and any where inside . One other place was like that that I know of and that was the Masonic Temple in S.F. Calif.

Why the? Did that emblem have the eagle sitting on top of the world and an anchor threw it . Well I understand the Anchor. The eagle looks like Melek Taus stuff of the Kurds . The same as the Peacock Angel . I see that a lot .
Did you hear this already . O.K. I thought it was to funny :

There is no east and west at the north pole . There is only south . Ha Ha Ha Ha so funny so so funny . That just crack Me up

I would hope it's good for something, since relative to eternity, it's practically no time at all.

I don't mean to be rude; I just don't feel my trivia skills need to be tested.

    Okay...

Do you want to start a conversation about a topic or have me read a book?

That would be the carbon nanotube spring batteries you mentioned. Most of us on this forum run several topics and also post to several topics of others. Not really much fun to be stuck on one topic at a time. Just make sure you get email notifications when someone posts to one of the topics your interested in. I leave my sound turned on so I can hear when new messages come in.

'Testament of The Book' was all capitalized, but 'new' wasn't. Just curious, but what language are you translating from? To make this easier, you could link to online Bible passages.

Likewise, I have been waiting for you to demonstrate your purpose in joining this forum, not that you necessarily have a personal agenda. For myself, science forums take the place of a social life, given my obscure work schedule.

My theory was, that I would find a different type of intellect and energy at such forums, compared to some of the comments I have observed on other social media forums.

The research is still in progress.....too soon to draw any conclusions.
