This belongs in biology. It has nothing to do with astronomy or cosmology.

All that means is that there is a lot of gene stealing going on in nature. It is certainly a remarkable thing, but all of us are composed of molecular machines. Our machines will eventually become that small too, and enter the realm of chemistry. We already know it can be done.

One of the many problems in this early phase of the Information Age is that anyone who can write well can self-publish and gather a readership. Blogs undergo no peer review, no editorial review, and many of them don't even host the advertisements which would at least subject them to some vague oversight. They can be 100% poppycock but if they're well written people will read them and believe them.

One Must Wonder What Effect Microbes "From Elsewhere"

would have on the geneology and brain evolution of hominids.

It could have a toxic effect in certain situations.

    That is Why

That is why people of a certain ilk stick to blogs approved by the science police who always have the people's best interests at heart and who never make mistakes.

The advantage of governmental authorities is that ultimately, as voters, we have control over them. Whereas, the crap you populate your blog with is completely uncontrolled. It's not a difficult choice to make.

The cosmological evolution of machines during the big bang into their next phase, organisms, has nothing to do with cosmology? A tad anal?

    Do Not Forget Dollo's Law

There is no going back to machines according to Dollo's Law. That was brought out in the link chain.

Your mind contains the crap. Your heart contains the fear to explore. Your soul contains the science police.

It means a lot more than that.

It has revolutionized genetics in a way that has not even been fathomed yet.

    What About The Little People

Microbes are the most abundant organism on the planet.

They are the oldest organism on the planet, having been here for billions of years before humans.

They influence human genes and brain construction.

    They evolved from machines.

    How do they influence power?

Are there any alien microbes influencing your cognition?

Don't be chicken shit, think it out.

This is just nonsense. I withdraw my suggestion that this be moved to biology and suggest it go into pseudoscience.

on edit: or straight to the cesspool.

This post has nothing to do with real sicence.. its just like those christian fokes that belive the world is only 5000 years old.. lol..
Its a VERY fun read, but nothing that belongs in a forum like this in my humble opinion

Microbes from space is a recent subject in a NASA scientist's peer reviewed paper.

The science police were quick to give him a ticket but the trial is still pending.

Whether microbes exist on other planets and have come to earth in comets or asteroids that become meteorites is a valid question.

Especially since the recent revolution in human cognition and genetics, concerning symbiosis of microbe and humans.

That should have some bearing on our cosmological theories to say the least.

The Big Bang is implicated by the theory of machines evolving into microbes, and doing so here, there, and everywhere, which is also cosmology.

A narrow gene-set or a narrow meme-set is not good for progress.

This Section Is "Astronomy, Exobiology, and Cosmology"

    1) the Big Bang (cosmology)
    2) machines evolved first as elements (same)
    3) then molecule-machines evolved simpler element-machines (same)
    4) planets, starts, etc. evolved from those molecule machines (astronomy)
    5) microbes (organics) evolved from those machines (exobiology)

"Our cells, and the cells of all organisms, are composed of molecular machines. These machines are built of component parts, each of which contributes a partial function or structural element to the machine. How such sophisticated, multi-component machines could evolve has been somewhat mysterious, and highly controversial." Professor Lithgow said.

    ...

"François Jacob described evolution as a tinkerer, cobbling together proteins of one function to yield more complex machines capable of new functions." Professor Lithgow said.

"Our work describes a perfect example of Jacob's proposition, and shows that Darwin's theory of evolution beautifully explains how molecular machines came to be."
(Will Humans Evolve Into Machines, quoting Science Daily).

That is what this thread is about.

Hey mods, this thread belongs in pseudoscience or the cesspool.

    Wtf

Alex calls 911 science police. Scared to learn something new and scientific, revealed by the best microbiologists on the planet.

Your bias and lack of scientific understanding, AlexG, is what belongs in the cesspool.

    This is the sequence:

    big bang -> machines -> microbes -> animals -> humans -> symbiont (human <-> microbe) ...

    Reference is here.

Nether Astronomy, Exobiology, or Cosmology can be understood without combining the complete sequence into a whole ongoing process.

    That was a predictable response.

On the contrary. Fascination with the unkown and appreciation of our ever improving understanding of the world fuelled my passion for science. What I will not tolerate is willful misinterpretation of data so as to obfuscate the true wonder of the universe and replace it with a mish-mash of dogma, jargon and pseudoscience.

I view police as a desirable element in society. They are persons responsible (to me and other citizens) for ensuring that society is run in a rational, consistent way.

'Science police', if they existed, would fulfill a similar important function, ensuring that the scientific process was applied correctly and that the willful misinterpretations referred to above were condemned. So I view your 'accusation' that I am an example of such 'science police,' as a deep compliment. Thank you.
