Is it true that Chinese people are Caucasian?

    Chinese history is 5000 years long so it's hard to tell which race Chinese actually belong to. during this long period many races came to China and mixed with local tribes or civilization. caucasians, persians, indians, turks, malays, and even some africans all somewhat mixed into the Chinese ethnicity in history.

    how does that challenge it's hold on xinjiang???

    and of course there were different races or caucasians who lived there. people have always migrated but that doesn't mean they were a large majority there either.

    There's no such thing as "race" only phenotypic distribution in a population.

    Actually Chinese is classified as something else. In fact most Indian ethnicities Punjabi,Gujarati,Bengali and even Sinhala share a common ancestor with Caucasians. Most Indians and whites originated in Armenia and spread from there. Most middle easterners are also indo European like the punjabis Bengalis Sinhalese etc.

    What does that make them, you ask? The answer is "Americans." Duh?
    And I don't know where you got the idea that the Jews play a major role in the categorization of the Chinese people. Is this some veiled reference to the large number of Jewish people in the American film industry, coupled with the film industry's strong influence on our culture?
    The people who ended up populating China and the adjacent countries (Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, etc.) did indeed come through the Middle East. Dr. Cavalli-Sforza's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luigi_Luca_Cavalli-Sforza DNA analysis gives us an astoundingly detailed roadmap of the migrations of the ancient people, starting with the first migration out of Africa around 60KYA.
