If something is "bunk," it is generally thought to be not true. So, your statement is correct. These sources are debunked, they are sound sources of truth, they have been de-bunked, and found to be entirely credible. Me? I had great respect for Benazir Bhutto. I had my suspicions that the Western Powers had no desire to see her in power. They really had no desire to see the people of Pakistan free. Free thoughts and truth in that country? What a nightmare. Proof Osama was killed: 1. The President watched it on assassin-cam 2. Some guys took DNA and compared it with family members(maybe they just killed another family member?). We take their word for it - it was a match - matched in less than 24 hours mind. Less than 24 hours minus the helicopter ride from Pakistan to Afghanistan to the Ocean and shrouding the body and all the other B.S they said they did to him. 3. Yes it is entirely possible that there is a doctor out there with double books who is supplying criminals with equipment, medication and service under the table - maybe he even has a paypal account since that facilitates purchases on ebay. And a bank account linked to it. Maybe the Germans and Japanese manufacturers are willing to send equipment through illegal channels and the Chinese are supplying free catheters to aid Osama in his aim to bring down the American economy. If OBL was dead, then Bush's loss of interest makes sense, but why wouldn't he claim the credit for it? Why pretend he was still there? That makes no sense.
No doctors need be in the loop at all - anybody can freely purchase such equipment on the open market, in many countries. Everything that's needed can be ordered off of eBay right now, by anyone with a credit card. Meanwhile there are several medical doctors known to be in Al Qaeda in the first place. More likely none of the manufacturers (let alone, the nations they are situated in) had any idea - this stuff is sold through various distributors, and - again - on the secondary market. That's why you'll find so many hits if you type "dialysis" into eBay. It is neither difficult, nor conspicuous, to obtain home dialysis equipment almost anywhere in the world, provided one has a bit of cash to spend. You'll recall that the suppositions that he would have died from kidney problems went hand-in-hand with the presumption that he was literally living under a rock in a cave somewhere with no electricity or plumbing. If you presume that he was in a modern compound in a city in Pakistan, there's no reason to think he couldn't have continued dialysis indefinitely (supposing he actually required such). Which would suggest that the rumors of his death were untrue - or, anyway, that Bush didn't believe them.
@Esotericist Do you realize that this interview is said to have contained the statement as a mistake since she was speaking of Omar Sheik and the death of David Perlman? I mean she did refer to the 'cutting of heads' of the americans etc. What other's have been calling since then a 'freudian slip' If she were to believe Bin Laden was dead then she would have had to believe that it would be common knowledge as well. You believe in this though there isn't even evidence like the compound, his wife, his son and the fact that the muslim world is reacting to his death. Why didn't they react when you say everyone was so sure he was dead in 2002? Is David Frost a very very reputable journalist so lost that he doesn't remember? Maybe Musharraf doesn't want to be the next boogeyman? Or maybe he doesn't know cause he doesn't seem important anymore.
Those vipers are representations of the public. We elect them and we can just as easily not elect them. Which is why I think of Washington as 'WE' - as a matter of fact, it's important we do. It's not THAT hard to run for the lower house. Why not give it a try if you think you can make a contribution towards good governance :shrug:
A thought occured to me which seems to explain most aspects of some of the questions without the need to invoke grand conspiracies, or shadowy organizations. Virtually the only thing it doesn't explain is the 2001 death notice, however I have to wonder about the credibility of that. Consider the scenario where Bin Laden dies of Kidney failure/liver failure in 2003/2004 and al Qaeda, rather than being seen to loose their figure head to something as un dignified and ignoble as ill health, simply tell no-one and push one of his doubles (I'm assuming he had doubles here - it would make a degree of sense) further into his role. Then the only requirement as far as the US involvement would be either that the international intelligence community simply never found out, or if they did find out, played along, because 1. such a 'victory' would be anticlimactic, and at best phyrric, and 2. the enemy would simply deny it anyway, and parade the double around in front of cameras. So the man that was killed was, to all intents and purposes, bin laden, even though he might not actually have been bin laden - if that makes any kind of sense. :shrugs: yes, it's a conspiracy theory, but it seems like a more 'natural' explanation of some of the alleged facts than some of the ideas that have been tossed around in this thread so far.
