They have had evidence of his involvement inciting, funding and inspiring terrorism for years. There isn't one government who has denied Bin Laden as a terrorist and the need to bring him down by hook or by crook. Personally I'm glad the tax payers didn't have to fund some long drawn out trial and create a security nightmare which would bring only grief. As Tiassa pointed out he could have played any scenario he liked but he preferred to die as he lived. I have no problem with that.
Meteor Showers Unfortunately, I now have the South Park mangling of Cher stuck in my head. Seriously, I can't tell the difference between that and Lady Gaga.
Where is the evidence? Has it been provided in any court? Meanwhile, these US troops did not have permission from the Pakistan government and they entered Abootabad and apparently killed people there including, presumably the young wife. Can they be arrested by the Pakistani government? Will the US give them up if they are indicted in a Pakistani court? How would the US government treat a similar circumstance? Pakistani troops shooting out near US bases inside the US?
About a Bad The specter fled to Abottabad, Having done a whole lotta bad. His courier laden with what Osama had. No phone, internet, or even any trash Was the giveaway to what the mansion hath, And even in the nearby counter-terrorism’s path. SEALs swept into the heart of the storm Coptering into the hilltop’s guarding swarm, In a foreign land, the tempest found by the CIA, And so the leader and his men live no more today. A shot to the head and he was dead, And to evil the end, as to all in his stead, Whether clerics or just plain terror led. OBL rules nothing now, as not to be, Rotting at the bottom of the Arabian sea.
Believe me Chi I am not trying to change your mind. I imagine if he were brought out alive and placed on trial and admitted guilt you would have still found reason not to cast any blame on him but on the West so... And its the same with Sam. Muslim deaths by other muslims (terrorism) which far outnumber the deaths caused by western troops doesn't concern you at all so you look for any reason to discredit the west or the US (what-have-you)
Exactly. Will we see it in one do you think? I used to think Indians are naive about their government but compared to Americans they are practically savants.
Supposing they sent a bunch of troops to do so then, yes, it would by definition be a "military operation." If they used intelligence operatives to do it, it would be an "intelligence operation." Or maybe "espionage operation." It seems that you are looking for a different term there, than "military operation." A "military operation" is nothing more than troops doing something commanded by their leaders.
Frankly, I consider the whole thing to be a monumental farce. Maybe you should borrow our pandus, to get better results without tossing away your whole economy. The Seals obviously are seriously challenged by terrorists on dialysis.
Sam are you denying that Bin Laden created and led al-Qaeda? Or are you denying that there is an al-qaeda? Or are you implying that al-qaeda has never engaged in terrorism? Dead men don't need courts.
No I am asking you for evidence of those claims. Because the courts don't revolve around opinions. Go ahead, feel free to provide the evidence that you base your opinions on.
