'God' is Impossible

He has no proofs to explain, he attempted to pull this on me yesterday in another thread when he said "I have 100% proof god does not exist" he yet has provided no evidence.

He has to provide evidence he made the claim. your a hypocrite if I made this thread in reverse you would be jumping al over it saying "Got evidence" "You have to show proof".

Show evidence or thread shoud be closed down. This would not be accepted if a theist posted this and claimed "It's impossibe for god to not exist"

Which part of this being in the Philosophy sub-forum have you missed?
If there were evidence he'd have posted it in science.
This is a discussion about reasoning and logic, not evidence as such.
And if you'd posted a thread in reverse I'd be picking holes in your "reasoning"*, not asking for evidence.


* As I have already done in other threads with Sciwriter's claim.

Part of the problem with proof is it requires individuals who are capable of understanding the proof offered.

For example, If you were trying to prove a subtle idea in physics to a biologist, even good proof may not prove anything to the biologists, since the biologists may not be qualified to understand the proof. He may need someone to tell him this is proof or else his ignorance and pride would make him doubt reality and pretend you need other forms of proof closer to his ability to understand.

As an example, many people can't appreciate the proof offered for evolution therefore all tha proof deos not prove anything to them. That proof only works for those who can understand the proof, as well as though who, although they can't really understand, will go along and memorize to be part of the group.

I was just pointing out that not all proof, will be obvious to all. We have so many areas of specialty, even in science, because it often takes an expert to verify subtle proof. We depend on them to tell the rest of us.

If I was lazy and/or couldn't understand the proof and didn't wish to take the exper'ts word, but needed my own proof, that may never happen, since you can't place a square peg in a round hole. In the mind vaccum there is not enough prerequisite to begin.

The atheists have no intention of studing theology, so they could at least prime the brain in the direction of the experts in that field. This situation is like someone who hates chemisty. You really can't prove anything to them, if they wish to remain ignorant. They might need a trick, spin or gimmick to get their attentition and make up for ignorance.

As far as saying something does not exist, that is easier if one is ignorant, since they will lack background making it appear true to them. In the void which is their mind, it is easy to prove nonexistence since they begin with a void.

 

Im talking scientific proof/evidence, the same kind of proof required of Theists when they claim "God exists"
